Clarence V Hobart

Clarence should win although Hobart did push them a bit early in the season. But Clarence are in pretty good for after downing a dissapointing magpie team 2 weeks ago.

Roos by 48pts

Glenorchy V Lauderdale

Magpies will win this one, both teams had huge losses last week, but the pies are a different story at KGV, having almost knocked off the eagles in round 4.

Magpies by 34pts

North Hobart V New Norfolk

The demons have a huge chance to show they are contenders and not pretenders this weekend, when they meet the all conquering eagles outfit at North Hobart, we can expect a good crowd to this one with the Devils interstate, it will be the premier match of the round in any comp, the Demons could pull an upset at the home of football.

Demons by 12pts

Brighton V Kingborough

Kingborough will win by over 200pts, they have shown in recent weeks that they can challenge the big guns.

Tigers by 210pts

WCL, you have no clue.

Clarence to flog Hobart by about 100 points.

Put a 1 in front of your predicted 34 pt win for Glenorchy over Lauderdale, who even in their second year in the Premier League, STILL WOULDN'T BEAT CYGNET!

Norfick to continue on their winning way and beat North by 5 goals.

And Kingston, although should win easily will fall well short of winning by 35 goals. Most likely won't even kick 35 goals. On the big Pontville Oval and no doubt blowing a gale I think they'll win by 98 points.

P.S. Why no Regional League Preview?

OK, I'm back. Although I still wo'nt be getting into it too much.
I've had my time to calm down a bit. So here goes.

Clarence vs Sell Outs.
The Roos will beat the Sell Outs by 68 points, it'll be close early but with no tradition or passion (or supporters for that matter) to draw on, Lions will fall away badly, and the all conquering Roo boys will trounce them at Bellerive.
It's all well and good for Lions to jump up and down about good they are by beating little Lauderdale, but this time they will be playing the real deal.

Glenorchy vs Lauderdale
Maggies by 121-points. Glenorchy have been a lot up and down in recent times, but on KGV they will kick the bejeezuz out of the poor ol' Bombers.

North Hobart vs New Norfolk
I dunno about this one, guys.
I think if New Norfolk are going to drop a game this season it will be this one.
We all know about how New Norfolk fare on North Hobart in September (bloody terribly) but the Eagles don't have the best record against North there at the best of times. North will be a huge show, but their records against the better teams this year is too hit-and-miss for my liking.
For that alone, I'll say Norfick by 21 points. Should be intersting game though.

Brighton vs Kingborough
Kingborough will win by 87-points, is my guesstimate.
Brighton can play a little better out at Pontville than anywhere else (well, not anywhere really) but Kingborough don't play the bigger ground out there all that well from previous years experience.
Brighton won't trouble them, probably just annoy them a bit, to stop a 100+ point blow-out from happening.

I'll leave the Reg League up to you Barge. Also their is supposed to be a 1 in front of the 34 on the margin for the Magpies, Bombers game, it was a typo and should read:
Magpies By 134pts.

I'll take your word for it WCL.

Ok, here's the Regional League wrap up for this week (Round 11) - for those who give a flying f#@$!

Cygnet v Huonville

Cygnet to win by about 60-70 points, Darcy to repeat his heroics of their earlier clash and kicked 13.

Kermandie v Claremont

Claremont will be bouyed by their first win of the season last round v Channel, but unfortunately this week will be outclassed by the Robins. The money men like Jamie Kaye, Brendan Lorkin and co. will have a field day against their inexperienced opposition who will start promising by like most of their other games this year will run out of legs as the day goes on. 'Mandie by 75 points.

Channel v Sorell

Both teams on the rebound here, with Sorell coming off a home loss to Kermandie last round. Channel are hard to figure out, beating Lindisfarne at home and then going down to Claremont in the upset of the year. Should they turn up not switched on as they appeared to last week it could be a horrible day for the home side as Sorell will slaughter them should this occur. Sorell for mine have a edge in class all over the ground and should win comfortably. Eagles by 6-8 goals.

Lindisfarne v Dodges Ferry

Sharks easily. Playing quality football at the minute and will be smarting after yet another close loss to Cygnet. Lindisfarne appear to have lost all their early season momentum and, win or lose, seem to rely too heavily on too few. One would hope the money lasts past this year or they'll be stuffed as their two best players thus far, Kaine Menzie and Michael Cassidy, will no doubt be on the move.

Dodges by 8-10 goals.

Thoughts Tigers, WCL?

Cygnet V Huonville

Cygnet by just under 10goals, the lions have improved a bit in recent weeks, but the Port will be too strong.

Kermandie V Claremont
What Barge said.

Sorell V Channel
the eagles should win, although Channel should put up a good fight for three quarters, with the eagles romping home in the last.
Eagles by 5-7goals

Lindisfarne V Dodges
Lindisfarne at ANZAC park are a different story, they will get beaten though will go close. Sharks by 20pts

Cygnet to win by 60-70 points?

Got done by 70!

Has anyone ever been further off the margin with a predicition?
