Can't see why the Crows would target Spider. Not worth a cracker, IMO.
If Crows want a ruckman they would be better served looking at SANFL - Christie (is it?) from Eagles, or perhaps Centrals' ruckman.
Who is doing the trade game for Crows & for Freo - whomever, how about an offer of Vardy and Perrie for Pavlich?
That almost seems like a win for both sides and all the players involved (Perrie is from WA, Vardy wants to go, & Pavlich has always followed Crows) and a far better option for us than any of Spider, Hall or McKernan.
It doesn't look like we have to worry about McKernan, it doesn't seem like he's interested in coming here. Let's all breathe a sigh of relief.
If the Hall to Sydney deal goes ahead, then we're a good shot at getting Fitzy from the Swans, for maybe Vards. If a deal can't be worked out between the Saints and the Swans, then we're still a shot at Hall.
No doubt the Tigers need to free up some cap space now, but I don't think they'd let a key position player like Holland go. Hilton, Chaffey, etc. look more likely to be traded. Of course we'll still go hammer and tongs at Holland and we might be able to pull a surprise there.
So best case scenario, we get Hall and Holland
Worse case scenario (and most likely) we get Fitzgerald (or maybe even none of our key targets but let's not dwell on the negative possibilities :) )
