O'Keeffe does come up with the odd good line, I must admit, but I'm afraid that most of the time he gets up my goat, especially when he constantly laughs at his own (usually) failed jokes. A secret of comedy is?

...

Timing.

He doesn't seem to have it.

I really have tried to give him a chance, but now I reach for the mute button when he comes on. MacGill's regularly pained expression probably tells a story too.

I mustn't get started on the subject of Squires either.

I suppose different people find different things funny.

Any idea if I can get the radio broadcast of games over here in the dark ages of sport?

Afraid you won't get Kerry over here...ABC coverage sucks on the NET...SEN, 3AW, and the AFL coverage through afl.com....for the England tour, your best bet is Test match Special with the BBC....at least you get Jim Maxwell, who does a good job....

Any idea where I can get that? through the BBC site? Jim Maxwell is a bit dry but he does know his cricket, from what I remember listening to 3AW cricket. Thanks for the tips.

THANK YOU! I was worried I was the only person who thought this of Kerry. He's okay for a about a minute, then he just got on my nerves. Not overly missing him over here - sorry Kerry lovers!

Absolutely superb combination.

Could you imagine if Kerry was doing TMS this year. That would be amazing...

I was worried that I was the only one too.

For another possibly unusual opinion, I'll say that Botham and David Lloyd generally talk nonsense and that Nasser Hussain and Michael Atherton are funny. MacGill is OK too.

Well, maybe the opinion about Beefy and Lloyd isn't too unusual.

I can't agree - Kerry O'keefe is histerical - however I think being foirced into the comedy routine by channel 7 hasn't worked. I can remember many days listening to him commentate the cricket - he managed to make even the dullest session fun.

I also rate squire I think channel 7 have got a good mix - saying that I was probably the only fan in the country of 110% Tony Squires !!

It's like that framed picture of them and you press play and it's just him laughing.
God, that was funny.

That was brilliant.

The cheesy photoshopped version with Shane Lee's head on MacGill's body was even better.

He was on fire last night, purely on fire. I can't wait for this summer to sit back and listen to the ABC!

He's ok but I prefer watching the more serious combination of BJ and Flem on foxsports. If i want comedy ill flick over to the comedy channel or fox footy and watch a carlton game.

He is one of the main reasons for watching Fox Sports coverage. I get enough of pro NSW crap during the Aussie summer, dont need it all year round, rather a Victorian in action who actually knows something, although watching Mark Waugh sometimes is horrible

I think about 71-77 or there abouts, sometime in the 70's, played about 25 tests i think.

I'd rather watch a Friends marathon than watch those three buffoons talking cricket. Especially Kerry Ann Kennerly.

Opened the batting in the 2nd innings of the Centenary Test in 77 (as he reminds us pretty regularly)

Squires: The Australians seem to be diving around a lot in the field.

Kerry: Yes, they have spent more time on the ground then Shane Warne's undies.

that is way to harsh

nothing could possible be worse than a friends marathon - I would struggle to make it through 1 of those stupid programs

Kerry is much funnier :)
