Great, here comes Alvey and Haynes.

Richmond must be quaking with fear.

Word is that Alvey was downhill skiing all day long. That won't get him a game next week.

Alvey did find plenty of space for himself but he did play pretty well. That said I'm not sure the coaching staff is all that keen on Alvey, Haynes, or Bullen any more - I think only Alvey is a chance to be seen in an Essendon jumper again.

Alvey had plenty of centre clearances coming in off the wing.
Dyson's game as rover was fantastic.
Cartledge clearly will come in.
Bradley will come in as well. Big marking.

Not sure they'll debut Nash this week, but, he'll be mighty close.

Alvey won a fair bit of his ball inside. He found a lot of space in the last quarter when neither team played accountable footy, but he certainly wasn't 'down-hill skiing' all day. Don't know whether I'd necessarily bring him in or not, but it was a good game.

Best game I've seen Cartledge play, he is bloody quick too. Regardless of what happens at the tribunal he must come in.

Paul Thomas impressed me, give him another go. I don't rate him as an AFL prospect, but at least he has a crack.

Ricky Dyson was simply awesome, has to play. Kep likewise.

Wouldn't bring Nash in, it was his first really good game and others have strung together 5-6 before getting a chance. But pleasing to see.

Ben Jolley took two of the best marks I've ever seen. The first one, running back with the flight, inside the forward 50, could have been killed, already 70 odd points up, played on and kicked the goal. It was breathtaking.

No chance of Ben Haynes coming back in.

Johns marking better, still has some work to do.

Good to see he played well enough then, always has a crack thats his best attribute for sure.

Very happy to see Nash in the best list!!

I thought everyone did well but the highlights for me where Cartledge and Dyson. They have continued to get better every week. Dysons goal in the first quater from just outside 50 about 10 in from the boundry in front of where i was sitting was a highlight :D
I think Cartledge should be an in for Laycock regardless of any tribunal action.
Courtney still has some improving to do but it is good to see him continually leading , working hard and crashing into guys. he is getting better every week.
Nash seemed to relish a bit more time up the ground at various stages.
Alvey was very good , didnt really have an opponent all day but his creative work was excellent. Thomas very good. Jordy was once again terrific, too bad he wasnt a little taller and had an ounce more pace.

It was a great goal, but I heard someone at the ground say the 50m line is only about 43m.

You are more than likely right given i could nearly kick a goal from the 50(at half time) and i havnt been able to kick further than 40m for a while now lol :D
Was still a good goal from there even if it was only 45m out , wrong side for a leftie :) We yelled out for him to have a shot and he put it through the middle :D
