Will this week give us any answers to just where we are at.
While we should win this easy my concern is STILL our foward line and when freo got a run on last wek we could not pinch a goal just to ease the ship and with Welshy missing with a grion strain it makes it even more suspect. As well as the rest of the year for Welshy. here we go again?
Given our run home we should get 2nd spot BUT can we go all the way unless a foward [dont care who] but unless a foward puts his hand up this year could be one that will get away.

Lets hope this week we see Watts play and really show something. He might be a real wildcard come the finals. I also hope that Knights plays. He is a serious ball magnet and can kick a goal or two. Could be just the sort of player to pick up the crumbs in the forward 50! You never know what opportunites will unfold during the season. Don't forget also that we have stiffy to come into the forward line as well.
I would like to see this come finals:
FF: Welsh McGregor Stiffy
HF:Edwards Perrie Thompson
C: Burton Roo Mattner
HB: Torney Bock McLeod
FB: Bassett Rutten Hart
1R: Hudson Goodwin Shirley
I/C: Watts Knights Biglands VB
EMER: Potential, Doughty, Skippy
Not a lot of experience on the bench, but still looks like a bloody good team to me. Very flexible. i.e. If Bock struggling, McGregor can go back and Watts forward. How good does the starting 18 look?? Good enough to win the flag??
Yes.
Reilly should be in the mix somewhere.

Hawks have some big in's this week and have one of their strongest side on paper for the season. Would be good if someone could give Everitt a corky early as he could be a real match winner for them.
Once again we will be relying on our midfield and defence to carry us to victory.
Ps... Reilly running into our forward 50 with no one near him in the last 1/4 to seal the win but misses everything and kicks it out on the full has summed up his season thus far.

If we can find a watts, or more likely knights/VB, it will be nice. Much like 97 where we had some really good young talent coming through and it just got better as the season went on. Unless we find one or two just to put that bit extra pressure on the fringe players we might just not be a genuine premiership threat.
And got to agree with baaaaaaaaaalllllllll that reilly is badly out of form, but its been our management of him thats put him that way.

This week will tell us whether we can win in Tassie & whether we can kill-off a weaker team in a danger game.
If we win we wont find anything out as hawthorn are not really any sort of yard stick.
If we lose we find out that the last quarter against freo was much more than a abberation
