Should be a good one tonight. The last game was over-shadowed by the events in London so the Aussies escaped pretty much unscathed media-wise. If bloody Watson gets another game for Australia I will run down my street naked screaming 'bring back Freak'.
So, with that in mind, any thoughts or line-ups for the game tonight?

ablettjnr

These are the probable line-ups as named on baggygreen.com.au
Australia: 1 Adam Gilchrist (wk), 2 Matthew Hayden, 3 Ricky Ponting (capt), 4 Damien Martyn, 5 Andrew Symonds, 6 Michael Clarke, 7 Mike Hussey, 8 Mike Kasprowicz, 9 Brett Lee, 10 Jason Gillespie, 11 Glenn McGrath. Supersub: Brad Hogg

England: 1 Marcus Trescothick, 2 Andrew Strauss, 3 Michael Vaughan, 4 Kevin Pietersen, 5 Andrew Flintoff, 6 Paul Collingwood, 7 Geraint Jones (wk), 8 Ashley Giles, 9 Darren Gough, 10 Steve Harmison, 11 Simon Jones. Supersub: Vikram Solanki

Good to see the Aussies are as arrogant as ever

The english are apparently no good and the Aussies are just playing poorly. Glad to see they give no credit to their opposition as usual

4 paceman has always failed in England for Aus, this could get ugly and the batting is struggling so you weaken your batting lineup?

According to the English commentators, he was "in form" coming into this match... as they speculated about him reaching his first 100. Went on to make 1 from 3 balls.

England 3-28 after 11 overs

Why don't umpires just put up the finger straight away when someone is out. Seeing Rudi trying to give Trescothick out with a nod was a joke.

Well, they are doing it as a trial...seems like if they want to make it work better, they should allow the formal naming of the sub AFTER the toss.....maybe name your 12 or 13, then select after the toss is done....of course, they could equally say "12 men in a side, 11 bat and 11 field/bowl"

Yeah I’ve been saying it to anyone who will listen. The sub rule is not going to work the way they think it will.

Once the teams figure it out, they will all select all-rounders. So they will all simply have an extra batsman or bowler in the second innings. Not very tactical or exciting.

Great captaincy record? Not because of him. The challengers in world cricket just dont exist atm. England has been Aussies biggest challenger by far, the rest of the world is miles behind. First time all series he made the right call at the toss

Fielding includes catching: check. Deadly accurate throw: check. Before I was just being silly in saying you are a retard, but this comment suggests I was leaning the right way.

In terms of "shocking throw", perhaps the fact he is no more higher than five-and-a-half foot and with a light frame, makes it a bit hard to get any great penetration in his length of throws. In terms of accuracy and reaction, you don't get any better.

I do like the "can't bowl" comment in your sig too. Nice touch for a batter.

Indeed. This game is far from over. But what's this crap about Bangladesh? This coming from a bandwankoner of a team that has One Day loses in the last two years to the likes of Zimbabwe; not to mention heavy losses to Sri Lanka, West Indies and New Zealand in the net. Yep. Top quality opponents there.
