If only you spoke for your entire club.
To Dees supporters, he is easily worth twice that.

Why pay him more than he is worth? I congratulate the club for standing up for itself. Its the money grabbing Farmer to blame.

The club didn't do *****! God can't you see Farmer didn't leave coz of the money? are you people that stupid?
Melbourne should have made sure along time ago that Farmer is happier in his environment that his mentality towards the club and being away from home was good.
They turned their back on it and now they have lost one hell of a player.... coz they are insensitive and a bunch of stupid men who think money will solve anything!

yeh um....i agree with u mostly Or....i know he didn't want to go for the money..he's just that kinda guy....but i mean....he must have felt so strongly about going home as was reported in the paper that the leadership team (and a few other players) went
around to see wiz the nite before it was announced to try convince him to stay.....they will miss him so much i'm sure as we all will...but as Or sed in another thread...no1 can replace wiz but the sum1 will replace his spot in the team...

Im sure the guys will miss him a hell of a lot. But its part of football and at least they got a whole pre-season to get over it.

Nice to see that Neita, Schwarta, Chell, Febes and Yze all took him out the other night and tried to convience him to stay....at least they did all they could! (unlike the stupid morons down at Melbourne! )

That's just a silly comment. Infact you are contradicting yourself. You were saying there was nothing they could do, he wanted to go home and now you are saying Melbourne didn't do enough.
Make up your mind.

I was saying that in the end there is nothing they could do because he wasn't happy without his family, BUT... had melbourne not pushed the matter aside and got a phsycologist or a councilor down there than maybe things could have been sorted out differently.
Im sorry dees01 but some of the people down at Melbourne really got to get a good kick up the bum and wake up and realise that they are dealing with real people with real lives!
Sorry Dees Rule, Wiz left for the $$$. The club bent over backwards to accomodate Farmer. Garry Lyon & Neale Balme in particular going over to W.A. in 97 to lure him back personally.
The club did the right thing, you have to draw the line somewhere. Having said that I'm gutted that Farmer is gone, however he's not irreplaceable.

!
If you had your way you'd get a counciler to open his a practice down at the Club. What would they have done for Farmer. He doesn't need one of those and it would not have made the slightest bit of difference.
