View Full Version : Who's got West for the Brownlow?

Considering West has come third or better in every brownlow count since its inception (may be a slight exaggeration), I would suspect that a few of the people on this forum may think this is his year to go one step further.

Did anyone back this thinking up with a wager? I saw West at $51 pre-season, figured it couldn't hurt to slap $10 on him. Wish I had been more daring.

Now his odds are about $10 I think.

Anyone else jump on this pearler? Or get him at something even longer (or shorter)?

i dropped a pineapple on him winning the 2005 brownlow way back in '96 when he was just a pup.. it was paying a hefty 6,001$

you could say im quite stoked with his season so far

Stand to win $300,050.
Very astute.
Well done.

I only think West will have eleven votes at this stage of the season. Cousins will win it easily, so I wouldn't even count on Westy having a chance unless Cousins has to serve a suspension.

Since when is Barry Hall fair? The umpires don't like him. He will be lucky to have eight votes let alone sixteen.

I'm hoping Cousins will do something stupid to get himself reported. The WC Coolers still have to play the Heave-Ho of Freo after all, and we all know how those games can degenerate - particually in a year when Freo will know they won't be playing finals footy and would take some joy in brusing the bodies of its more able and september bound neighbour.

Here's hoping anyway.
