On the news they said the hawks offered Trent Croad to us for Scott West.They also said Westy was not on a list of 4 untouchables,although i may have misinterpreted this.:confused:

Yeah thats what i heard too its a suprising offer from the hawks but i have to wonder if our list of untouchables has only 4 who are they and does that mean they are prepared to trade our youngsters.:confused:

If we do a direct swap Croad for West we would have to have nuts in our head. West would be their best player by a streak
If push came to shove, and we had to trade West, i would hope we got someone better then Trent Croad. How's someone like that gonig to help us? West is west, no two ways about it. He may have had some personal trouble this year, but he was still a great player.

Craig Ellis
Adam Contessa
Trent Bartlett
Todd Curley
Anyone else is fair game apparently.

You would hope that the club wouldn't offer West for Croad. But from what i've heard today they want a young player anyway. What is annoying me is that everyone is carrying on about them willing to trade croad but no one is carrying on about us willing to trade westy :mad:
