so I remember when I were a lad and england had a cricket team.
they were men then, not like the blokes ye get no.
then england batsmen would play forward defence shot and backward defencive shot all day and score by nick to third man and be 3 fer underd and seventy at end of days play.
them were the days son, when opposition teams would rather gouge their own eyes out and feast on there own livers than face the tedium of english opening batsmen, and we won son, sure the opposition team died of depression watching us play, but we were champions...

Let me guess: were they the years our bogans won the Ashes against fearsome bowlers such as Andy Caddick (*shudder*)?
If Border and Greg Chappell had been playing in the last 6 or 7 years, they'd be averaging 75!!
