According to the learned Essendon supporters on Bigfooty, the following players were the Don's best for season 2001.
The B & F is on tonight, it will be interesting to see how accurate we are:D :D

Umm, I actually though Sean Wellman wouldv'e appeared before daylight?:confused:
I was going phone a mates dad who is a trainer and was probably there, but I'll wait until tommorrow to find out. :D

1. J.Johnson
2. M.Lloyd (bout 40 votes behind i think)
3. J.Hird (one behind lloydy)
4. S.Wellman (one behind hird)
5 and 6 i think were rama and caracella
Damien Peverill - best first year player
Mark McVeigh - most improved
Dean Solomon - most couragous
Steve Alessio - best finals players

They had injuries this year, but they are still our best players.:(

first time id actually gone to the best and fairest tonight,was done a lot different than how i thought it may have been done

ive been invited each year since 97, and the first was really good cause i hadnt been before, then they became to be the same thing every year
last nights was the best so far, everyone spoke really well, it was emotional
barnsey was sensational, funny stuff
wally was great and sean denham was good too
it was good to hear kids like mcveight, bull, and even josh mahoney say how much playing at essendon means to them
dont know about having a carlton supporter as mc though
and sandie - no comment
