Looks like eddie's call for Collingwood in the English side is gaining momentum, since PC has racked up 181 no in the Durham innings...

On the other hand, Yorkshire have shown they don't need Vaughan's bat (not that he would contribute much at present), as NSW's Jaques pounded 217 no in their match today.

With guys like Rogers and Jaques doing the business on the county circuit, one would think the future of australian cricket is quite bright...just need a couple of bowlers coming through

Maybe the Aussies could take some tips from the English

104 overs and 97.5 overs in a day for those 2 matches. Yorkshire are going at a good pace of about 4 an over.

As for Vaughan, he couldnt have done worse than the 2 openers who did play, but as a team they are doing fine

Hopefully the Freak can kick on tomorrow, could make 150 by lunch

Its a but slow by Australian standard.

The way he's batting he could quite easily havce done worse.

He should just concenrate on supporting the new wonderkid.
