Many great comedy series or sketches. I'd say The Office or Black Books. Great late night comedy shows.

Neither of which is currently showing...and if we're talking "ever been shown on the ABC" then there are plenty of options greater than these two (despite them being two of the better recent offerings).

Nah like recently. Best shows on the ABC within the last 2 years. Little Britain also rates up as on of the best as of late.

Glass house sucks.
Wil Anderson has way too many tabs on himself, and just churns out the same crap week in and out, most of which does not even pass as funny. The whole "oh, I have just slipped in something really offensive or taboo" look and style of comedy he produces is tiring to listen to.
The only thing Dave Hughes has going for him is his voice/accent. He is your average bloke, with your average stories, but has a voice that people like to laugh at. Sandman was the same, except he is creatively talented and funny, as opposed to spitting out life experiences living in a country town.
Corin Grant is a female trying to do comedy. Nothing else needs to be said.
The fact they choose to repeat this program at least once a week is a blight on the many other good shows they could practice this with.
I like the Glass House, Anderson and Hughes are quite funny, Corinne looks out of place.

Really enjoy Black Books.
Nothing holds a candle to The Late Show though it was brilliant...Brilliant.

Best Comedy show on the ABC now ? or ever ?
For best ever, well The Late Show has to be up there, with The Micallef Program a close second.

Black Books currently, Big Train not far behind. Big Train's first series was funnier than it's current though.
Tie between Office and Fawlty for best ever. Red Dwarf still brings a smile to face.
Couldn't see anything too funny about Little Britain. I may be missing something that more simple-folk find hilarious, but it never really appealed.
And agree with everything Mr.X had said about Glass House. Wil Anderson is the absolute definition of tosser. One of the least funniest persons on tv, currently duking it out for the title with Rove.

Did it ever occur to you that you're simple? Little Brittain is brilliant, one of the best shows getting around at the moment.
