My first created thread! Woo-Hoo!

Pretty much results went as expected in the South of the state today, with the margin of the New Norfolk v North Hobart game (140 points) leaving us all amazed at what we thought would be a great contest!

Devils won (f$#% it!). Driving past North Hobart this arvo the missus asked "How did Tasmania go today?" my reply? `Couldn't give a F&*$!'

A workmate asked me yesterday if I wanted to go and watch the Devils. Declined the invitation on the basis I had more interest in the Claremont v Channel blockbuster at Snug.

Speaking of which, at that game today, and there's some serious competition for this title which I've seen, I saw the most thoughtless, mind boggling, inexplicable piece of umpiring I have seen this year, possibly ever!

And technically speaking, the pea brain in question didn't even make a decision! Let me explain ....

Right on half time, Channel captain Andrew Chilcott flew for a screamer, was up quite high and landed hard, knocking himself out cold. This happened just on the goal side of CHF for Channel and from this passage of play they scored a goal.

As the retards in white were taking the ball back to the centre for the resultant bounce, supporters of both clubs were yelling at the umpire to halt play while Chilcott was attended to as he had still not moved.

What did one of the central umpires do in response?

After looking at Chilcott for about 20 seconds, in which time he still had not moved, the imbecile - and that is praising the idiot - just ran off as if he were 100% ok!

Luckily for Channel and Chilcott there was only 1 or 2 seconds left on the clock for as soon as the ball was bounced the siren sounded for half time.

Now, I'm no umpire (thankfully) but I was under the impression that, in these instances, they must stop play if there's a chance an already injured player could be hurt even more?!!

What would have happened had there been 5 or 10 seconds left and Channel won the quick kick out of the middle and the ball was to land on or near Chilcott? What if a pack of players were to accidentally fall on him?

And the galahs accross the country wonder why umpires get abused by players and spectators!

Sorry to inform mate but the DEVILS are here to stay.
Next season all home games at the Bellerive that be 10.
The ABC are though to be in agreement to broadcast the away games live every other week alllowing supporters to keep in touch.
The football population may well have been in attendance at NORTH HOBART today so it is not good news for the struggling SFL.

I was at the Devils game and they were outstanding. Dominated the first quarter and got out to a good lead, umpires gifted Box Hill 4 goals in the second quarter to give them the lead going into the second half, and from then on it was all Devils, absolutely killed them. All the big names firing, Beams, Callinan, Atkin. Huge crowd there as well.

Some good signs for the Tassie youngsters as well, both Todd Grima and Sam Lonergan had good games, particularly in the second half, with Lonergan taking a mark of the year contender.

And finally, there is not a better player in the VFL than Ben Beams, in terms of skill level he is a class above. Kicked about 9, set up a few more when moved into the midfield in the second half, absolute star.

Looking very good at the moment, although a pretty tough run home and only one "home" game at Aurora left. Got a healthy percentage so should be into the finals.

31st July 2005: Eagles Cane Demons In Hard Lesson
By Brett Stubbs

Like naughty schoolboys who refused to follow the teacher's instructions, North Hobart was forced to stay in for detention during its embarrassing 140-point belting by New Norfolk at Boyer.
With his side trailing by 75 points at half-time, North Hobart coach Brendon Bolton, a high school teacher, took the unusual step of keeping the Demons on the ground, making them stretch and do run-throughs on the outer wing during the break.
"I kept them out there because there was a big scoreboard to the left telling them they were getting hammered,'' Bolton said.
"I wanted them to have a look at it and recognise it and let it mean something. Today it didn't mean enough.''
The move had little effect. The second half was just as bad as New Norfolk obliterated the Demons 29.16 (190) to 7.8 (50).
Even after the final siren, Bolton refused to let his players slink away to the changerooms, making them stay on the ground to listen to the Eagles belt out their theme song in front of the faithful in the L. W. Hepper Stand.
It was meant to be the Southern Premier League's match-of-the-round: undefeated New Norfolk against second-placed North looking for its sixth win in a row.
But yesterday proved there is more than one place between the Eagles and Demons.
The Eagles were brilliant in every facet of the game, streaming forward unopposed from defence and the midfield to find an attacking half full of targets on song.
Coming on top of last week's 113-point win over Kingborough, playing-coach Matthew Smith was elated with another big victory.
But he said his team was yet to achieve anything, especially after being beaten by Clarence for last year's flag.
"The last two weeks we have played eight quarters of footy and I can't remember this footy club doing that for a long, long time,'' Smith said. "Last year hurt us a lot.
"But that is a long way away and Monday night we will start focusing on Clarence and hopefully go over there and have a good win.
"No matter how much we say we are not thinking about it, the hurt is still there and we just want to respond in the best way.''
Smith and fellow midfielder Roger Belcher were dominant throughout, with Smith labelling Belcher the premier midfielder in the Premier League.
Full forward Sean Salter finished with eight goals and forward pocket Adrian Burdon five as two of nine multiple goalkickers.
Clarence returned to the winner's list after consecutive losses, handing Hobart an 88-point hiding at the TCA. It was a similar result in the other matches, with Glenorchy's Dean Millhouse kicking eight goals in the Magpies 70-point win over Lauderdale, and Kingborough shaking off Brighton to stroll to a 72-point victory.

31st July 2005: Forward March! Fired-Up Port Cements Top Spot
By Adam Smith

Cygnet's tag team forwards once again fired when it mattered as the Port cemented top spot on the Regional League ladder yesterday.
A muddy ground and windy conditions were not conducive to free-flowing football as Cygnet defeated Dodges Ferry by 35 points, 15.19 (109) to 11.8 (74).
Forwards Michael Darcy and Daniel Walter kicked nine goals between them, with Darcy's four taking his season tally to 94.
After Cygnet opened the scoring through Damien Dillon, the Sharks kicked the next four to lead by 13 points at the first change.
Port came out firing in the second but wasted opportunities, kicking eight behinds before registering their only major of the quarter.
Dodges kicked two, to be 11 points up at the main break.
But Darcy became unstoppable, kicking all his goals in the third term as Port took a stranglehold on the match.
Robert Stevens got on top in the ruck and Dillon and Philip Dance provided plenty of drive through the middle.
The Sharks kicked the opening two goals of the final term to close to within three points but could never hit the lead as Cygnet kicked six of the final seven goals.
Damien Clark was best on ground for the Port and Isaac Bennett and Jamie Ling ran hard all day for the Sharks.
Craig McLeod, playing in the midfield and floating across half-forward, picked up numerous possessions and also kicked two goals.
The win means Cygnet cannot lose top spot and, after next week's final round, will get a week off plus the bonus of a home semi-final.
While the Sharks will not lose second spot, they head into the finals well aware they have not defeated Cygnet in three clashes this year.
The battle for third spot and the double chance will be decided next week after both Kermandie and Huonville registered comfortable wins.
Huonville defeated Lindisfarne by 46 points, winning 24.14 (158) to 17.10 (112) in a high-scoring encounter.
Lions coach Michael McGregor kicked 10 goals and Shaun Goodsell booted five for the Blues.
Kermandie remains fourth on percentage after its 107-53 victory over Sorell.
However, the Robins face bottom side Claremont next week while the Lions face the huge task of knocking off Cygnet to stay in third spot.
Brendon Lorkin kicked five for the Robins in what was the Eagles' seventh loss in their past nine games.
Channel defeated Claremont 94-31, with both teams playing for pride after being out of finals contention.

Fully aware the Devils are here to stay, Wattsy. As I have said in earlier post during the year, the powers that be would prefer to see the SFL, Old Scholars, ODFA, NTFA, NTFL and all the other Northern Comps fall over if it meant getting crowds of 20,000 to the Devils every week! I'm sorry but I just can't get interested in them.

Dunno which game you watched Jezza, a mate of mine went to watch the Devils on Saturday and said Ian Callinan was thrashed by his tagger and did fork all!

If they ever play Williamstown down South (always seem to play them at York Park or Devonport) I will be barracking my ar$e off for the Seagulls! Actually as Wattsy said, that should be next year! Go Willie!

If you see some galah going berserk for the team wearing the traditional Hobart Guernsey with Blue instead of Black (Sorry Tigers, couldn't resist!) that'll most likely be me! Had to laugh when in Balls and Bumpers the other year, they had Devils guernseys in there. Seriously, who would pay $100+ for one of those stupid guernseys? Not me! (Or Tigers!) I'd sooner buy a Willie jumper!

As for Daniel Gray, Who Cares? Of what I have had to do with him he seems like a typical KINGSTON knob head! Does he think him stepping down with 2 games to go will do them any good? If he had any bottle, he'd have weathered the storm and seen the year out! Does he think this season has been tough for just him?

When I heard Hobart was changing thir identity to the Lions couldn't help thinking he was involved, knowing he was a Brisbane supporter!

And Tigers, no use thanking me for starting the post, all I did was report on what a TOTAL MORON the umpire was in question!

But Thanks anyway!

Made himself out to be Mr Nice Guy innocent, claiming he didn't want Hobart to lose its colours etc, but he was in that whole sordid mess up to his neck.
Worded Jerk McGregor up to make "that speech" at the 2003 Best & Fairest count which started the ball rolling toward Hobart losing its identity completely.

Gobs off in the paper, using the club captaincy as a vehicle to exert pressure upon an egotistical committee, anxious to pander to the players in order to embarrass them into an AFL-alignment with Brisbane, all the while claiming to be "a Tiger at heart" and "wanting to wear the Black & Gold" to the supporters who weren't happy with him.
Claimed not to know how the result of the December 1st meeting would go, "will we be the Lions or the Tigers" were his exact words - when all the while he knew that the club had not sought reistatement of the Tigers, and was heard bragging with Coterie group members by a non-Hobart person that "the Lions deal is through" at an engagement three weeks before the meeting even took place to vote on it.

It was all a giant con. I had the great pleasure of bailing the dumbc*** up in town about five weeks ago and telling him just what I thought of him, too.
The look on his face was priceless.

31st July 2005: Brilliant Beams Leads The Way As . . . Devils Hit 'Em For Six
By David Stockdale

It was a dream day of footy that came true for the Tasmanian Devils at North Hobart Oval yesterday.
For starters, they charged to a record sixth consecutive VFL win by belting the Hawthorn-aligned Box Hill Hawks by 56 points.
The magnitude of the victory - 18.16 (124) to 10.8 (68) - has pushed the Devils into sixth spot on the ladder and greatly enhanced their chances of playing off in a third consecutive finals series.
And who better to lead them to glory than their captain Ben Beams, who kicked eight goals in a scintillating best-afield performance to remind us why he once played in a grand final for AFL club Melbourne.
To ice the cake, 5526 roaring fans packed the ground, the biggest turnout in the VFL this season.
Even hard-to-please Devils coach Mathew Armstrong was able to crack a smile.
"The size of the win was very handy because it gives us more of a buffer in the top eight with three rounds to go,'' he said.
Armstrong's plan, to use his second-string players to run with Box Hill's onballers and wear them down and then unleash his front-liners, worked perfectly.
"Our boys were fantastic today, especially the way they lifted in the second half.
"We made it hard on ourselves early by chipping the ball around too much, but when we went long and direct after half-time it made a huge difference.''
Kept goalless by his shadow Steven Greene until midway through the second quarter, Beams cut loose to finish the first half with two goals.
He kicked three in the third quarter and matched that in the final term.
It was party time in the second half with Beams blowing out all the candles to the delight of the crowd as the Devils slammed on 12.1 to 3.2.
Beams's effort in smothering a kick off the boot of a Hawks defender and then running in to snap an acute angle goal in the third term had to be seen to be believed.
A bonus for the Devils were the fine contributions of 205cm ruckman Markham Johnson and utility Sam Lonergan, who kicked two goals.
Rival coach Andy Collins, a former three-time Hawthorn premiership player, could only marvel at the young riches Armstrong has at his disposal.
"Beams was the difference between the two sides, particularly in that third quarter when they blew us away,'' Collins said.
"We had to take Greene off him in the end to try and win some offensive ball.
"But I was even more impressed by the young players like Nathan Grima, who I think the AFL scouts will look at for the national draft, and the same goes for Sam Lonergan and Todd Grima, who I think could both go top 20.
"Mix them in with experienced guys like Beams, Justin Plapp, Ben Atkin and Matthew Jovanovic and you've got a pretty damned good side.''
Collins was pleased with Kristan Height's tagging job on Ian Callinan, Cam Howett's work rate in the centre and Harry Miller's smarts around goals. But he was disappointed to learn Ben McGlyn had a broken jaw.

1st August 2005: Lesson Dished Out To ODFA Leader

Triabunna caused the upset of the ODFA season, dealing ladder leader Bothwell its first defeat for the season.
The home side had previously won only one match against a side above it on the ladder and coach Trent Wiggins would be ecstatic with the performance.
The 11-point win, 14.7 (91) to 12.8 (80), was built on a brilliant backline display, with Matt Haigh on a half-back flank and Matthew Cruse in a back pocket both defending strongly and also driving the ball into attack for their side.
Paul Taylor was at his creative best out of the centre and Wiggins just shaded Gavin Branch in the ruck contests.
Ryan Blyth, four goals, and Adrian Hobden, with three, led the Triabunna scoring, with Taylor and Damien Hodgson each adding two goals.
Bothwell onballers Ben Eyles and Jamie Bryant got their hands on plenty of the football, using it well over the course of the match.
Scott Brazendale played a good rebounding defender`s roll from the half-back line.
Jarrod Horne used his pace effectively off a wing. He and Eyles each ended the match with three goals.
Mt Pleasant recorded a strong victory over Swansea, 27.8 (170) to 8.5 (53).
The outcome was never in doubt after an opening term which saw the home side pile on 10 goals to none to establish a 60-point lead at the first change.
Swansea battled on gamely in the second term, matching its opponent's total of four goals for the quarter.
The second half was effectively a training run for both teams, with the Mounties adding 13 goals to four in the final hour.
Full forward John Rainbird finished with 11 goals, the highest total in the competition so far this season.
Damien Wilson and coach Darren Kaye each added four in an ominous display of forward line scoring power.
Young ruckmen John Hay and his Swansea opponent Chris Hay had an enjoyable contest, while wingman Dexter Bertoldo gathered plenty of the ball for the victor.
Swansea captain Chris Sing was his side's prime ball-winner playing on the ball, while Nick Darke at centre-half back and centreman Vorne Graham were gallant in defeat.
Shane Cowen was a shining light in front of goal for Swansea, finishing with six goals.

1st August 2005: Richmond Lays Down The Law To St Virgil's

Richmond inflicted St Virgil's second loss of the Old Scholars Football Association season when it scored a 35-point win on Saturday.
It rained goals in the first half at Richmond, where St Virgil's jumped the home team by scoring five goals to one to open up a 23-point quarter-time lead.
However, the second quarter produced 15 goals as Richmond went on a rampage, kicking 12 goals through direct passages to goal, setting up countless opportunities, with St Virgil's managing only three goals.
The home side had opened up a 30-point buffer at the main break.
In the third quarter Richmond continued to dictate terms, kicking four goals to two.
It would have been more except for inaccuracy at goal, with the home side kicking 4.7 for the term to lead by 47 points at the final break.
St Virgil's fought back in the final quarter, but the damage had been done, with Richmond winning by a comfortable 35 points, 19.14 (128) to14.9 (93), ensuring finals action in September.
Leigh Jacobson around the ground, John Fowle at centre half-forward (seven goals) and on-ballers Adam Daft, Glendon Bentley, Darren McGuinness and Dale Wood were among the better players for Richmond.
Joel Thirgood in the ruck, Conan Ziegeler up forward, Shane Donoghue and Kim Youd around the packs, along with Nick O'Riley and Brad Hastie, stood out for St Virgil's.
OHA gave its finals hopes a boost after thrashing Friends' by 181 points at Geilston Bay.
The game was over by half-time after OHA kicked 11 goals to nil in the first quarter, followed by seven goals to one in the second term to lead Friends' by 109 points at the main break.
Four goals to one in the third quarter by OHA further increased its lead. It finished the game with nine goals to one in the final final quarter to win by 181 points, 31.16 (202) to 3.3 (21).
Forwards Adam Kaufman (six goals) and Andrew Reid (four) led the way for OHA, ably supported by on-ballers Gavin Quirk, Mathew Zukauskas, Craig Grace and Daniel Orr.
For Friends' none battled harder than Jason Frawley, Matthew ********, Bradley Van Derkamp, Ben Parremore and Angelo Pavlides.
University remains in fourth spot after registering a hard-fought 19-point win over Hutchins at University.
University took a stranglehold on the game in the first quarter, kicking eight goals to Hutchins' two and held 38-point lead at the break.
But the visitors fought back in the second quarter, holding University to one goal while kicking three themselves and trailing by 29 points at half-time.
Hutchins continued to claw back in the third quarter, adding four goals to University's two, and at three-quarter time University's lead was reduced to 14 points.
But in the final term University outscored Hutchins slightly to win by 19 points, 14.15 (99) to 11.14 (80).
On-ballers Shaun Suitor and Gavin Shaw, forward Jason Gulliver, defenders Sam McGuire and Damian Knott and midfielder Nicko Aird were among the best for University.
For Hutchins, forwards Adam Palfreyman and Josh Bean and on-ballers Jack Madden, Hugo Brettingham-Moore, Aaron Hogan and Richard Palfreyman all played well.

August 3rd 2005: ODFA Teams To Head South - End Is Nigh For Swansea, Mt Pleasant.
By Brett Stubbs

The end of the Mt Pleasant and Swansea Football Clubs is imminent, with Triabunna and a combined Oatlands-Bothwell team set to join the Southern Regional League.

Southern Football League president Roger Viney submitted a formal report to regional league clubs on Monday night outlining the proposed expansion of the competition from eight to ten teams.
He has been authorised to continue negotiations with the Oatlands District Football Association breakaway factions, with a September 19 deadline given to AFL Southern Tasmania for a final decision.

"I am positive about it" Viney said yesterday of the expansion.
"The SFL has demonstrated in the past three years it is developing into a strong group of clubs and structure.
It is obvious that it will attract interest from other clubs or associations that are in difficult situations."

But he did admit the move would see the demise of last season's ODFA premier Swansea and Mt Pleasant, one of the association's founding members.
"The league would certainly see its role in supporting clubs generally but the bottom line is yes it may [end Swansea and Mt Pleasant]," Viney said.
"We are not in the business of putting associations out of business.
"But they [Triabunna and Oatlands-Bothwell] have come to us because of the difficulty of clubs in their association currently to survive into next season."

He said travel would have to be one obstacle to overcome.
"But there has to be some consideration and agreement from the two clubs entering that they might have to play home games closer to the travelling clubs, particularly the distant Huon clubs", Viney said.
He cited Triabunna playing some home games at Sorell and Oatlands-Bothwell at Brighton as examples.

"That will seem fair and reasonable when Kermandie has to travel long distances", Viney said.
"But I have made the point pretty clearly that all clubs sitting around the table have been through hell and high water the past 20 years and they need to give due consideration to embracing football in the broader sense.
"Southern footy has to recognise that associations fall over, and those stronger are going to have to offer assistance".

That's very sad - i grew up 10 min from the Mt Pleasant ground and used to barrack for them before i really went for an AFL club (then vfl) - Turned up every week to cheer the boys on, going from from Little league to Seniors.

Fondest memories of the close games (and a few awful spankings) - Was a genuine team of locals til only a few years ago when they started paying crud townies big cash to play in the country...

Writing was on the wall due to lax management...

He cited Triabunna playing some home games at Sorell and Oatlands-Bothwell at Brighton as examples.

"That will seem fair and reasonable when Kermandie has to travel long distances", Viney said.

Had to laugh to myself when I read this today.

Just goes to show which clubs they most want to keep happy.

They expect these clubs to play their home games a bit closer to town to reduce the travel of the poor ol Huon Clubs (most of whom live in town anyway!) yet I'll bet my a$$ the 'Bunna and the ODFA team will be expected to travel to lovely Geeveston and Cygnet on 6 deg days in the middle of July!

Surely what it good for the goose is good for the gander! If the Oatlands clubs are expected to travel way down south then surely the opposite must occur! With gatetakings, bar and canteen revenue really the only income clubs make during a season how are these clubs expected to hold "Home Games" at the Home ground of other SFL clubs? In Triabunna's case, at the home of a club they'll be competing against. Heck, Oatlands-Bothwell could well be playing against Brighton in the Regional League too before long, assuming someone has to be cut to make way for our friends from Huonville! Surely even they must be sick of getting pumped in the Premier League!

How competitive do we think these new clubs will be? For mine, I fear at the hands of the Cygnets and Kermandies of this world they will cop some frightening hidings! Big Pud Darcy could well crack the magical 20 he has been threatening to kick for the last few years!

Thoughts, Gentlemen?

Lambs being lead to the slaughter.

I cannot see these teams being able to compete with the regional clubs until they get some more talent in their sides. They will be the Brighton on the regional league, at least now Lindifarne has someone to beat,

I was under the impression that Darcy wont be here next year and that Cygnet have approached a young FF to fill the void?????

That's very sad - i grew up 10 min from the Mt Pleasant ground and used to barrack for them before i really went for an AFL club (then vfl) - Turned up every week to cheer the boys on, going from from Little league to Seniors.

Fondest memories of the close games (and a few awful spankings) - Was a genuine team of locals til only a few years ago when they started paying crud townies big cash to play in the country...

Writing was on the wall due to lax management...

Unfortunately your old club has probably been one of the contributing factors to the demise of the comp, but certainly not the only one.

For years it seems that clubs were afraid of taking any steps forward.

In terms of competitiveness, the Bothwell/Oatlands side could well put a half decent side on the field from the get go. It just depends on whether a few former players running around the SFL decided to return, as well as whether some of the curent players have the committment required when making the step up.

It is my opinion that the ODFA consider such move as the last hurrah to join in to anything with AFL south .
What ever your problems do find a resolution as you are in control now where as if you move let me tell you that you would have no say going on the political climate in the south .
Why dont you lure Lindsfarne ,Sorell ,Brighton or Lauderdale into you league after nobody can stop you from sending out invitations to any club.

Those were my exact thoughts as well when I was reading and typing that out Barge.
The SFL want Triabunna and Oatlands-Bothwell to play home games at alternate venues to save the Huon clubs from having to travel too far, but what about when it's these Huon clubs turn to host the ex-ODFA clubs?

I wonder if we'll see Kermandie v Bothwell-Oatlands at Kingston Beach or Huonville?
I begs we won't. Not while we have Noel Morrison behind the scenes doing everything for his beloved Huon clubs.
If it goes ahead and the ODFA collapses, that will mean only three leagues in the South will exist (Premier, Regional & Old Scholars) and with how bad the situation is at some of those clubs still existing, we'll be just about able to fit all the clubs still in existence in the South into one league within the next 10-15 years.
Not that AFL Tasmania care about this too much, it's not in "the grand plan" of football here to see them all survive.
They want every Southern football fan being a Devils supporter, if that means putting virtually every other club out of existance bar the Devils then so be it.
A sad state of affairs.

The problem is where are the locals going to go for that football fix? Many don't ever want to travel all he way to support a team which really just represented a community coming together.

I guess in a few years a new league will be born out of desperation. A super league if you will...

Or the whole thing will die, it's getting that way, a few Premier League clubs are struggling to keep themselves afloat, and I cannot see them lasting any longer without some drastic help.

The crowds are getting smaller, soon they might not have a choice and just kill it off, it's starting to look like it.

Most of the supporters dont travel as is, so it isnt really going to affect a new venture.

And the best league that could be borne out of desperation would have maybe 3 teams max. Woodsdale, Mt Pleasant and Swansea. With all 3 only playing Seniors.

Maybe one big league in the South and one big league in the North.\

If it comes down to that.

WCL

The whole thing is a joke!
In my opinion the leagues in the South should be:

TANFL
Southern Tasmanian Amatuer Football League
Huon Football Association
Old Scholars or maybe like the old days they can play in the Ammos
And a Midlands League comprising of the teams from the ODFA and any other teams around the area. This league does not need funding from AFL Tas because they are just playing by themselves with no huge bearing on anything except for the fact that they are playing for the love of it and for people in the area a social outlet is formed, just like it should be.

I think everything was better before the AFL took everything over. I believe that they are short of work in the offices so they have to do something to look busy at the detrement of football. The North don't have any problems because they couldn't give a stuff about the AFL, remember last year they wanted to make a super NTFL, with brand new teams and the NTFL told them to get STUFFED as it is nothing else has been said, in fact you could almost say footy in the north is thriving, mainly because it has come through the rough patch well. I wouldn't be suprised to see over 8,000 to the NTFL GF this year and for sure if the Dockers aren't playing, because of extra interest.

The Majestic

I belive the problems were there way before the AFL ever came down here, Football Tasmania is the major problem. Always have been, and will always be unless they change those who are in the offices.

Isn't Football Tasmania backed by the AFL and at some stage didn't the VFL have some influence?

As of last year, yes, but the problems started with Football Tasmania, rather then AFL Tasmania, they have compouded the problem.
