I heard we want to swap Porter for Hall.Sounds pretty good.I'd swap Porter for McKernan aswell. We desperately need a tall forward. Also Porter dissapointed in the later part of last year and he is only a tap ruckman.Allan can get heaps more posessions around the ground. Also McKernan or Hotton can be put in the ruck if Allan is injured.

Why why we didn't listen to you with Hall.

Hey Spudboy, why don't you go and ask filth supporters if they wish they'd kept Heath Scotland.

Starchamber is spudboy, not you. My point is every club has hundreds of potential trades that don't go through or trades they wish didn't so why is this idiot bagging Carlton for a trade that didn't happen in 2001?

Knew you were having a go at spudboy, and agree with you, thread should be locked anyway.

Aside from the fact that Hall did not want to come to Carlton and would have given us the same problems we had with Fev i.e a loose cannon that makes us one dimensional. Aside from the fact that Hall started struggling at Sydney if the midfield was weakened, and we had a very weak midfield for a few years, I can't think of a single reason.

Rather than delete the added posts and send this one back to the vault, I will close it along with the following advice. Do not resurrect old threads unless it is going to inspire constructive debate and is relevant.

Being upset about a hypothetical trade that never occurred, just puts dead threads back on the front page and causes confusion.

If there are new threads and you want to quote from or link to old threads, feel free. If it was a time capsule thread where we can look back and be nostalgic, they are okay as they inspire discussion.
