View Full Version : Introducing...
Me!
G`day guys. Long time reader of BF(which is why I`d rather introduce myself here) & thought it was time to get on board.
An old Fitzroy boy - some will be able to tell by my name - bought a BL membership straight up in 97, went to my first ever GF in 2003 & ended the day in the rooms!
Been reading BF a fair bit over the last few months & lookin forward to getting amongst it!
Go Lions!!!

Welcome, always great to have an old fitzroy boy on board. It's a link in our history that will never be forgotten. A rich history that has helped define what our club is today. I hope we always remember that.
Good on ya Flea29,
I spent my childhood in jumpers and dufflecoats with the mythical 29 on the back (a couple of 5s too)-- a champion and a gentleman to boot. It's been great to watch a new rover taking the jumper for a spin this year, although I'm tipping he's probably outweighed Garry since he was about 12.
Cheers lads.
First FFc jumper had 29.
First dufflecoat had 5 on the back, 12 & 29 on the pockets!
Name bands down the arm included - Lee Murnane, Les Parish, Lorenzo Serafini, David McMahon.
Right behind the Brisbane Lions now as I have Vossy 200th print on my lounge wall alongside FFC team of our century print.
All the best

Good on you for having a go.
Just remember, beware the trolls. They do have a habit of surfacing from time to time.
Best not to feed them ;)

Welcome aboard Flea. Met the real Flea last Saturday night and told him about BF and all of a sudden you pop up - coincidence?
I was too young to have a good duffle coat back in the early 80's but my sisters had them with the same names: Serafini, McMahon, Quinlan and of course Conlan!
Welcome aboard and I hope to see you at the Fitzroy one as well!
