Very p issed off with this,Damian Hardwick is a mans man,he plays football as it should be played, hard and un~comprimising,he would die for Essendon,he loves us,we love him, they have shafted a TRUE CLUBMAN.All through the marshmellow thing he gave me hope.."yeah we are a little soft, but we still have Damian Hardwick".....a very over used quote, but one that fits..."If you were at war and wanted one bloke beside you in the trenches, who would it be ? DAMIAN HARDWICK".......I`m shattered
Yeah but has the club been spruiking him or have other clubs been asking about him? If someone else comes a sniffing they'd have to listen I suppose.
I'm a shattered man!! Anyone but Dimma!!!!!

Spot on John,
Dimma is Essendon, he bleeds red 'n' black. He is a champion and MUST stay. I'd be very annoyed and certainly let the club know about it if he was let go.
The events of the last week smack of the Carey/Bradbrury for Raines/Richardson shamozzle in '86. The treatment of great Essendon people (Joey, Mercs, Dimma) has been atrocious.
where's wally?
Generally I agree John.
But realisticlaly, before you are critical of the club, you would have to look at who we would get for him.
If someone said "Primus for Hardwick", then we'd go for it, obviously.
Now that won't happen, but my point is to refrain from being critical until we see who we may get out of the deal.

We will get ripped,he is an All~Australian,Best and Fairest winner,Premiership player, all round animal, coming off a very good year, loved by everyone connected with the club, already taken less $$$$ on his previous contract, flew the flag when we copped the soft tag.
Would have loved to been a fly on the wall where Damian had his chat with sheedy, can not wait to hear sheedy wriggle out of this one,as he always does.
one of my favourite players, ill be very ****ty if they trade him:mad:
Well he's gone bugger it. Good luck Dimma, I for one am soryy to see you go.

I hope u guys at Essendon use your draft picks 31 and 47 wisely. We're happy to have a tough player, such as Hardwick to instill something into our team that has been lacking since our inception...good, old-fashioned mongrel!
Cheers,

Will be more interesting to see how Hardwick reacts to a game against essendon next year. He may well target some of the players he considers have forced him from the club he loved because they wanted to much money. Watch your head Lloydy, i don't think that Hardwick will mind taking it right off if given the chance.:D
I think Port would of been very happy with the deal and by the sounds of some of the Essendon faithful the bomber fans are not.

How will he react ? As the true professional he is,crack a few heads, dent a few ego`s,put himself on the line, look after his mates, normal day at the office for the man.
