One of my favourite Dogs players, just wondering how he is doing and is he getting regular games?

he's getting minimal game time atm, but hasn't overly impressed, another preseason will help him, as he isn't as naturally as big as cooney, definately has the class though
Been a bit disappointing really. Has had very little game time but hasn't done much while on the ground to suggest that he hould be there ahead of others.
I think farren is still learning the game. remember, he started footy late, and his first year was under rhode, so he probably didnt learn as much as he could of about where to run and so on.
but he shows flashes of really good play, and he moves well and has isnt going to be one of those shrinking violets that has confidence problems when promoted to the seniors.
next year he will really come into his own I think.

unfair criticism i believe. he is a much lighter frame than cooney, griffen, making the lighter body of ray much harder to get in to the game - he also started playing footy at a late age. he is all class though.
if anyone is a dissapointment, it is walsh at this stage.

Ray is class and has shown it on more than a few occasions!! His slight frame and the fact that we have so many more experienced players ahead of him means he has to take a back seat a bit. Also Rocket needs to play everyone so he can see who will get the chop and who will stay, so the likes of birss, Boyd are getting some game time also to show what they have got. Fear not though, in 2-3 years, he will be a premier ball carrier for us.

Remember, Farren wasn't expected to have a "break out" season this year. Cooney was the one who was expected to "turn it on" and Farren needed another year or two.
Farren will come on. I am confident of it. His vision and footy smarts are very good for an inexperienced player. Wait until he adds some beef to his diminutive frame.

Farren is going to take a couple of years to cemente a spot in the side, he's slim and still learning the game, similar to Cross with a bit of extra weight we will start to see the best of him when he's 21-22.

Just watch him in the last quarter of the Brisbane game. He really got involved and did some very good things.

Has definitely shown in the limited appearances this year he will add further improvement to an already improving side when he reaches his full potential. I do not doubt he will be a gun for our club.
Another summer in the gym will do him the world of good.
I would expect him to play an increasing role next year with 2007 to be the year he really starts turning heads and shows his full value IMO.
Griff, Cooney and Ray will be the formidable basis of our midfield for the next 8-10 years I think.

Has played some awesome games for us down at Werribee.
Missed last weekend's Bulldogs game due to illness.
