Richmond in 3 years unless we get some KPP.
Doesnt matter how good your midfeild is. You need KPP in the important games, in finals.

The Eagles were smashed in the midfield today. The lack of dominant KPPs may have meant they had no backup when their midfield failed, but it wasn't the main cause for them getting flogged. Geelong just totally dominated the middle and that flowed on to every other position.
I bet your hoping we dont win the flag this year. Opportunistic morons.

Geelong beat West Coast in the midfeild but not by as big a margin as you make out. Fletcher still got his 26 touches, Braun/Nicoski/Judd all 20+.
West Coast kicked 5 goals in a game of football. Lynch, Hansen and co, the forward line failed to kick a goal.
If Richmond want to be a decent side we need strong spine.

Kangaroos and Bulldogs (and to a lesser extent Crows) have the same problem.
My money's still on the Saints for the Flag, for this reason alone. Key forwards, supplemented by goal-scoring midfields - win premierships.
I put my $50 on St Kilda at $9.00 when they were 4-5 after Round 9, and I'm sticking by that ... backline still intact or not.
P.S. I also put $10 on the Pies at $16.00 to make the eight when they were 2-6 ... so my logic is very fallible!

If anyone actually watched any of that game and based thier judgements on what they saw with thier own eyes they would have seen a side that has put thier cue in the rack until Sept . ....... they were not even out on the paddock yesterday :rolleyes:

Yeah if you dont have the best KPP's in the AFL you will get no where and having a quality midfield will only get you so far in this comp.

We wont have the spine of the WCE in 3 years time given Richo,Gaspars age, Simmonds inability to play forward.
If this 3 year plan revolves around Shulz then that is a big problem.

West Coast kicked more than 20 goal in a game 4 time this year

feel sorry for ya UNIT, could have played anyone else and it would have been interesting, playing the swans kind of puts you behind the eight ball, which comes in the form of "who the AFL really really really" wants to win. Just dont break the TV when the umpires expertly make sure that they either stay in the game, or break it wide open. ;)

Don`t know about you guys , but i am looking forward to Lids winning the brownlow in 2007 , then Tucky and Meyer coming 1-2 the following year when we run out there in the granny .
