The thing i've always noticed about Marcia "Well Done, You did a great jooorb, the audience love you, you look great" Hines :p .... is that if she has very little to say about a performance which is quite often, she'll praise the band or say something about the outfit and that's it.
For someone who being singing and been in the business for a very long time, she's very bad at giving advice and guidance.
And what's this light and shade business? She's loses me there.

She is the perennial fence sitter, she just wants to be liked. i remember in last years idol someone had a sign that said "stop sitting on the fence marcia". dicko and holden laughed, she didnt.
her advice is crap, it may boost the contestants egos but does little for their career.
she is a waste of space.
