From the sounds of the initial police report Hookes was king hit, how do you get king hit right after throwing a punch? From what I understand Hookes was followed assaulted from behind and died, that’s murder in my book.

Just because this creep says it was self defense doesn’t mean a thing, he’s fighting for his life of course he’s going to lie in an attempt to get off.

The reality is about 10 people know exactly what happened on the night and NONE of them post on Bigfooty.

It's all speculative, but IF it was a king-hit then he's gotta go, but IF he threw one after Hookes threw one then that might be enough for him to get off.

Wouldn't mind seeing him get jail time. It would go a long way to shaking up rough bouncers.

His biggest problem will be explaining why he was "defending himself" a couple of hundred metres down the road from the premises he was responsible for.

Accept the truth? the only thing thats been for certain is that the bastard hit hookesy and he died because of it, of course micevic is going to say hookes threw the first punch, its his only chance of getting off, but for you to say accept the truth? Fu ck mate! King hit means hit when not expecting to be, if hookesy had hit him first im sure he would have been expecting one back! How the ******** can you believe what that scum micievic says?

I guess Hooksey did get hit back after he threw the first punch, it just happends that Micievic was not affected by achol (Hooksey was), is a trained in Boxing(Hooksey is not) and Hooksey was a smart arse until his death. How can you beleive what anyone says not just Micievic.

Regardless of anything that Hookes said or did, the bouncer had no right to pursue him and the cricket group down the road after he had left the club. You must be one of those meathead bouncers (just like Micevic) who feel they have a right to act as a proxy police force.

He was hit with such force that blood was seen coming out of his ears.

Unless Hooksey had drawn a blade or some other weapon, that's not cricket.

Maybe the blood was due to him hitting the concrete ground?

That gives you a bump on the head. Not blood coming out your ears.

I wonder what people will think we they hear that Zdravko Micevic was described as the perfect employee yesterday in court by the owner of the security company.

People will not give Micevic a fair go.
