Only tait looks like he is a world class bowler :(

kaspa bowled so many no balls and when he wasn't bowling no balls generally looked un-threatening. He had some bad luck.

Lee had an ok couple of overs here and there but was generally feeding four balls to the english bats. Did have some bad luck but 75 runs of 16 overs was pretty lame.

tait looked genuinely threatening and really looked like he could run through the brits.

Warne was solid, but the brits are showing less fear of him than you'd think.

LOL.

Warney got 1 wicket in 6 overs on a first day pitch. Pretty darn good effort I think. However I agree on Kaspa and Lee. Both looked like poo.

yeah couldnt agree with you more

someone that has taking 600 wickets at international level must be pretty bad! :p

and tait is rubbish, none of this 'superstar' bowling that was talked about, he is nothing!

I think everyone now knows exactly what you get with Tait. Bowled some crap early - although nerves would have played a big part in that - then got it right and picked up 2 quick wickets to get us back in it. he will always go for runs, but he'll usually pick up wickets too. Just the spark our attack need with out McGrath

.

Disagree with that, the noballs was disgraceful, but he did trouble the batsman with some movement off the deck at first then late on with swing

The noballs totally spoiled his day though

Warne was solid, but the brits are showing less fear of him than you'd think.

On a 1st day, a wet day in fact, on a 1st day road of a pitch, no wrist spinners in history would've been expected to do anything, yet Warne still comes on and makes the crucial first break through.

Through a lucky bottom edge rebounding off a foot, mind you... it wasn't quite a Gatting ball!

Good on Punter for thinking if Kasper can swing it, so can I, and I won't overstep. But if we see Damien Martyn warming up the shoulders tonight... I think we'll be in trouble.

Thought Kaspa bowled well if you discount the No-Balls.

Lee bowled like a hack, Tait looked impressive though, the ball that got Trescothick was a beauty.

That's what happens when you have guys like Strauss and Trescothick playing dinky paddle sweep shots and taking their eye off the ball as they do so. Eventually it's going to catch up with them.
