What do you enjoy watching more? One dayers or Test matches? My preference is the one day matches, but I do enjoy test matches as well.

Definately the Tests, the one-dayers are all the same after a while. Been to the Boxing day Test for the last 4 years and love it.

Test cricket for sure.

One day cricket is too predictable and favoured heavily towards the batsman

For me it is Test Matches over the one-dayers. However at state level i prefer the one-day matches to the four day Pura Milk Cup games.

Pura Milk Cup...what is that? I only know of the Sheffield Shield :(

Tests by an absolute mile. No one remembers anything about the one-dayers except for the World Cup. I mean, who knows who is the record run scorer or wicket taker in the the ODI's???

Test matches are real cricket, not this artificial rubbish.
Usually try to go to every day of the Boxing Day test, will definitely do the same this year and am even considering travelling to the Adelaide Test as well.

Test Cricket wins easily. Its the tradition. I like 1 day cricket but five days of test cricket, you can't get any better.

Tests for me every time.

1 dayers are same old same old-every now & then you see a display of power hitting that you would never have usually seen in a Test but apart from that it's a bit predictable. Those 1day specialist players who make a name for themself & a good living out of it but can't hack it at Test level are a joke as far as I'm concerned.Having said that the World Cup's not bad as at least you have the feeling that goes with a tournament leading up to a final which is impossible to get with Test cricket.

Yep, the longer version of the game for me as well, nothing like the battle between bat and ball on the opening morning of a Test match.

Goalden Hawk, come over mate and we'll have a drink and a barbie at the Test, right under the scoreboard!! It'll be sensational!! :)

Yep....who'd want to be a one-day bowler...you can't even bowl a decent bouncer any more.

But, I guess the marketing "gurus" have said that runs are whats needed to bring in the people...so the bowlers suffer.

There is nothing better than a tight contest between batsman and bowler (the great DK Lillee vs IVA Richards comes to mind) in a test match.

So I'd say ODIs are better for crowd atmosphere, but tests are better for cricket.

Test matches easily.

A supreme battle of tactics, mental toughness, and skill, not to mention a bit of sledging.

What better than watching a bit of cricket on TV, going out for a little while, and when you get back - the game is still going! And it will probably be there the next day as well! (unless we are playing England)

I think that tests go on for too long. You can sit there for an hour and nothing happens. At least you can watch a one dayer and something is bound to happen in 10 overs. Don't get me wrong, I love cricket, but i just enjoy the one dayer better.

Tests for me.

Love the World Cup, and going along to 1-dayers at the G.

But I can sit and watch Test cricket for hours on end...one dayers I can't be bothered between the 15th and 40th overs.

Test Cricket for me. I love it.

1 dayers are ok for a bit of fun but I rarely worry about the result except for the world cup.

Test cricket every time, one day cricket is enjoyable but worthless.
