The 4 bowlers plus part timers Symonds and Hodge will take the 20 wkts.
Get Gilchrist away from the older ball which he has struggled against.
Hodge will more than cover Martyn's efforts so far this series.
I prefer Symonds over Katich although Katich is stiff to be left out as he has worked hard at the crease. Symonds also has the ability to do what Gilchrist normally does at 7 so we won't loose anything there, but we gain a bowler.

3 changes isn't ideal, but when your team has left you 2-1 down, there's no use keeping them.

2 quicks, a spinner, 1 decent part-timer, i half-decent part timer and a part timer who cant bowl due to a back injury= AWESOME.

MacGil
After seeing Hussey play in the one dayers my opinion of him has increased 10fold. He never looked trouble at all against quality bowlers. I like Hayden but I think he is a flatrack bully who has been found out in the twilight of his career against quality paceman (As he was early in his career against Donald & co).
I would like to get Hodge in the side however we need some variety in the attack with Watson, plus his batting form for Hampshire has been good.
I would bring Macgill in because none of the aussie pacemen have been able to swing the bowl however they have struggled against spin.
If McGrath doesn't play then Tait comes in.

12th - Symonds (I'm reluctant to rob the mighty lightning of their star player, but it would be advantageous for us to be able to give Pidge the Jones treatment and have him with his feet up in the stands between spells.)

12th Kasprowicz
Don't see any point making 4 to 5 changes as some of the people on here seem to be doing...
I've said that i've wanted Clarke opening since 2nd/3rd Test and I still want it to happen...
Hodge to come into fill the middle-order gap...
McGrath in for Kasprowicz....

Definitely:
Hussey for Hayden
McGrath for Kaspa
Symmonds for 12th Man
Maybe:
Hodge for Martyn/Clarke (leaning more towards Martyn)

Hodge (over Katich as we need quick runs)
There has not been a single instance in this series in which the speed we accumulate our runs has been an issue. In fact, if we had accumulated them any quicker, McGrath and Lee may have needed to last a lot longer than 4 overs to save the third Test.
For mine:
Langer
Hussey
Ponting
Martyn
Katich
Clarke
Gilchrist
Lee
Warne
Tait
McGrath
12th: Symonds (specialist fielder)
Also, would bring in MacGill if the pitch was a raging turner, but Ponting's assessment of pitch conditions thus far hasn't been too flash.
I think Martyn has looked OK but copped some ordinary decisions. If a couple of the 50/50's go our way the top order could click into gear for the first time this series.
