Go West Coburg !!!! :thumbsu:

All players are home grown.

Steven Kenna who plays VFL played a hand full of games to play finals for the opposition. I hear he is home grown but others in the team are not and thefore do not play with heart for the Jumper.

Go West !!!

What the hell happened to Marby Park in B division???

Bundled out in straight sets.

It was believed they would not have been promoted to A Grade had they won the GF because they have no U/18's.

Haven't been following the EDFL this season but are Greenvale the raging favourites again or is there a possibilty of an upset, which we often see in grand finals.

You'd think so.

Strathmore are playing good footy at the right time of the year and were excellent last weekend.

Paxman is playing well at the moment for Vale, and I think they'll win a close one.

Getting three teams into the finals is one heck of an acheivement.

I went to Craigieburn's AusKick one morning and was staggered to hear they have something like 150+ kids there. They certainly look to have a bright future.

Something like that, but Marby would working at having under 18 next year.

Moonee Valley down from A Grade would struggle in B Grade next year as well

there is only the 1 football team there and withs current population it is expected to have so many kids.

Once upon a time Cragieburn only had 4 or 5 houses there, a lot has changed in 20-25 years

In the grandstand during the last quarter there was a punch on between West Coburg u18's and Craigieburn u18's players the two groups were chanting at each other during the game and it got out of hand with some racist taunts.Quite a few punches thrown but no one hurt.

Great seconds game with extra time being played this game was better than the senior game for excitement.

The Under 18 grand final was between West Coburg and Craigieburn which West Coburg won. The under 18 game was played before the reserves

I should have said during the last quarter of the senior game.

The WC U/18's were waving their medallions at the C'Burn boys and C'Burn boys were chanting "You're going home on the back of a camel".

The police chopper was circling the ground during the last qtr of the seniors.

Just shows you how crap this league really is. Seems that football in this part of the world is going the same way as soccer, ethnically divided.
