Possibly, the best local football game I've ever seen. GV down by 4 goals with 10 minutes to go, to then kick 5 goals in 8 minutes to lead by a goal. Winter takes a huge grab 50m out for Mores and then slots it from 55m to level at 98 each.

Some desperate tackling from Strathmore in GV's attacking 50 saw the siren go and the game go into extra time.

Strathmore then kicked 2 goals in the 2nd half of extra time to win the game.

How many EDFL Senior Grand Finals (historically speaking) have gone into extra time?

Surely two in one season has never happened before.

Well what a joke they don't have a replay.

I would have thought most leagues play a re match the next week if there is a tie at the end of normal time.

Would have made a heap of dough for the league too with fans coming again next weekend.

Terrible crowd attended the game which was a pitty because the game was of the highest standard.

If anyone from the Eastern FL saw the game i think they would be fairly impressed. Both Greenvale and Strathmoore would be top sides in any league they play in.

Greenvale are the better side and only really decided to play some good footy for the final 15 minutes.

Well done to the Moores.
