AB is probably the most respected captain of Aus in the last 30 years. Didn't have as much talent as the chappel brothers, s.waugh, m.taylor or r.ponting, and is as couragious as anything we've seen since maybe even old silver head Benaud himself.
His never say die attitude earned him the name of Captain Grumpy and was a popular elevation to Selection panel.
He retired from being an Aus Selector despite being in the job a fairly short time.
Hohns is still there, who preceded him
Many people have questions what is going through hohns mind when he makes some dumb ass selection or refuses to pick the best side for Australia.
I wonder could he have accepted another cheque to betray Australia as he did when he became a mercenary to support the apartheid government and play for Cash.
he showed 20 years ago he had the morals lower than that of a street prostitute.
I dont say he has now, but would underneath those 80s bad sunnies, lurks the man who is a traitor?
