The Sydney AFL grand final took place on Saturday at Henson Park between Western Suburbs and North Shore, in very warm conditions.
Minor premiers Wests had only lost one game all season, but after getting off to an early lead the Magpies were hauled in by North Shore; with the Bombers hitting the lead shortly before half-time and going on with it in the second half to record a 41 point victory. North Shore 13.9 (87) d Western Suburbs 6.10 (46)

In the reserves, UNSW-Eastern Suburbs came from behind with a late run in the last quarter to defeat East Coast Eagles by 16 points. UNSW-ES 8.12 (60) d East Coast Eagles 6.8 (44)
The under-18s grand final saw St Ignatius Riverview take on the Redbacks, with the school team dominating from start to finish to record a 73-point victory. Riverview 14.16 (100) d Redbacks 3.9 (27)
