Draft order?

There's a question on the main board about the final 8 clubs - do they shift draft position based on their finals finishing position or not?

I've never paid attention - if you finish in the finals you are out of the first few picks so it doesn't feel like order matters much - but now I'm curious. Will - for example - North get an earlier pick than Geelong for being knocked out sooner in the finals, or a later pick for finishing higher after the H&A season?

North are 7th. Knocked out first week, but higher ranking before it than Melbourne had.

Draft is based on finishing order AFTER the finals - not after home and away.

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity, guys. It's pretty academic, especially as long as PPs take up the few few picks - unlikely to be a huge gap between 13th and 16th, or wherever we have shifted from and to - but I was wondering.
