Now that SOS has retired, I wonder who you would think would be a good choice for vice captain?

Well, though I think Brett Ratten will be the next captain, I would like to see Andy McKay get a reward for his efforts. I have no problem with Rats walking into the captaincy in 2003 without having been a VC first.

Yep, Rats for me and Andy too.

(Even if Braddles steps aside to accomodate both)

there are lots of choices on who will get VC and captain the year after, Andy & rats are good choices but don't forget Campo and Whitnall, i reckon they both have pretty good chances for either position, but with Whitnall i'd wait another year

Definitely Ratten for me. I believe he will be our next captain.
I think Campo has one major flaw that may hold him back from the captaincy. His propensity to "fly off the handle" at the umpires.
Not a good trait in a captain.

I thinkRatten as well...but we certainly have a depth of choice, with McKay, Campo & Whitnall being obvious leaders. Whitnall's football brain may well see him as the next captain (if Braddles ever retires).
