If I wasn't mistaken this could be construed as a shameless piece of self promotion.

I'd reckon you should flick between 98.5 FM and 3SR FM.

ONE FM do a tremendous job, as I'm sure the 3SR crew will do. At the end of the day you will have two quality call to choose from.

Don't sit on the fence centreman!!
Who is a better caller Steve King or Craig Potter?

Very hard for Steve King as he only gets the chance to call one GVFL game per year.
Potter is a great caller, who gets the chance to call each week.
Would love to hear them side by side, because I'm sure they'd complement each other well.
Certainly better than Rob Harris who used to call with Pottsy. He was terrible.
Kingy would certainly buy and sell him.

Is that Steve King who played for Geelong ?

Getting Mike McLean, that's a very good get considering he had done the AFL Grand Final the day before at the MCG.

Last years GVFL coverage by 95.3 was very good had interviews with premiership team I would say that Steve King was better

I'm not sure how Roger Oldridge will hold up after his side (Stanhope 2nds) won the Grand Final last Saturday, but having Magic McLean (who does a great job with his segment on the Saturday Morning Sports Show about the AFL on 3SR as well), on board should be good, as well as blokes like Brenton Cooper should be handy as well, and Steven King is a good all-rounder in the sporting journalism sense.

Considering that the reception for 98.5FM, isn't that crash hot beyond a 40km radius of Shepparton, having 3SR do it is sensational, especially for me because I cannot go to the game, but at least I can listen to it clear as a bell.

That's debatable centreman...you are selling Rob Harris short...would like to see him head up the OAK FM call of Ovens and Murray in 2006.

Can you get 3SR through the net? Have a couple of GV followers in Brisbane who would love to listen.

Great to see Magic McLean on the team FTB.

I'm sure it would give Brendan Rhodes a major ego boost that you've called in a leading AFL commentator to replace him. ;)

I'm hearin ya Ex dog, Kingy has the perfect head for radio as the old saying goes. Can't dispute his sporting knowledge though he does his home work.
Kingy I can hear Jack Grapsas calling you to join their team back down in the GFL.
