Bowyer's retired, Clarke's been delisted. Though, according to carltonfc.com.au, no more changes will be made till after trade week.

this will happen during/after trade week, no point delisting players this early on as you are showing other clubs your hand.
why delist straight away when we might be able to con another team into taking a plyer off our hands?
also some players may be used as trade sweeteners/clinchers and we need to see what players we can trade for and what draft selections we end up with.
eg/ no point de-listing a heap of midfielders if we can't trade for any midfielders or the picks in the draft mean our slections are better suited to picking talls.
be patient as our re-bilding is going to take a lost more than de-listing a few players from the 2005 squad and the upcoming draft.
IMO our re-building will take 2-3 years minimum.

If you meant B Johnson as in Brad then you are right. The one we have in Brett is not really up to it and others look better who are younger.
Livoingston signed a 1 year deal thank go. So if he has not improved by next year then the club has a couple of choices of what to do.

Livingston is safe. Chambers and Longmuir will probably be given another year as theyre on 2 year contracts.
Add Bannister to that list!!!!!!!
Chambers was injured for most of the year. He looked good in the wiz cup (though a lot of our guys did). Can't delist a guy after one year when 65% of that year was spend out injured.

The following should definitely go:
Johnson
Longmuir
Norman
Wiggins
Clarke (already gone)
Bowyer (already gone)
Possible delistings and/or trades:
Bannister
Houlihan
Livingston
Morrell
Prendergast
Sporn
We should definitely promote Setanta O'hAilpin to the senior list as well.

How can you possibly suggest that Bannister and Prendergast are better than Norman?
Longmuir needs another year to prove himself as he has been injury prone.

If you're gonna stick ya beak in here atleast say something sensible. BRETT Johnson is slow, cant kick over a jam tin and can't mark over head. As long as he gets delisted, i'll be a happy man.

I think we should keep Wiggins. I reckon he was one of our most improved players last year and Pagan just hasn't given him a go this year. He's pretty underrated. He often runs back into packs David teague style and doesn't get much recognition for it.
Alot of those players can be used as sweeteners because their are other clubs that see futures with those players.

Like who?............if they can't get in our starting 22 then what makes you think other clubs would want them?
