I am tipping West Coat to win. The Eagles have so much better talls than the Swans, A superior more attacking hardworking midfield, more flexible key position players and talls whilst generally having more stars and better bottom line players than Sydney. The game at the MCG gives the Swans a slim chance though i'll stick with the Eagles for today.

Sydney's tackling has been awesome so far, O'Loughlin in a bit of bother, should be fine.

24 Sep 2005, 15:50
Micky is feeling the pain after a big tackle in the swans forward line. Wirrapunda is playing really well in the Eagles backline, just holding them together along with glass.
Sydney defence under pressure but standing up well so far, MOL looking groggy after making a tackle
Eagles struggling to take a mark up forward, Sydney cleaning up at ground level with numbers.

24 Sep 2005, 16:15
Eagles started well and the Swanes bounced back anfter a couple of free kicks the Swans up by 2 points at Quarter Time.
Barry Hall clothes lined Wirrapunda and it was on. If Hall gets booked for that im sure that the tribunal wont be as lenient as they were with him last week. You would think that Hall would have learnt his lesson. Get's a punching charge and he goes and clothes line someone. Stupid.
Chick, should have kicked that goal. Would have sparked the eagles and they would have been up at the first break. He will need to make up for missing that.
There have stupid little free kicks so far like Jolly running into big Gardiner and Staker falling on Barry Halls back, just need to be a bit more careful or else it will cost someone the game.
Soft free gives Hall a goal.
Well he is over his quota of frees so that will be the first and last ;)
Sydney tackling has been hard, now the question is can they keep it up??

Eagles had the better of the Swans but couldnt put it on the board. Swans made the most of their limited forward chances.
Judd absolutely on fire. Huge first quarter. Wirrpunda playing well. LRT and Fosdike best for the Swans.
