The Age claims we've expressed an interest. Could meet Collingwood's demand for a first rounder ... :eek:
The Motlop for Pickett rumour might've grown legs with The Age also confirming the Roos are talking to Pickett, who is "excited" about a possible return. No mention of Motlop tho.
According to The Australian we've spoken to Ryan Lonie and Marc Bullen (he's described as being set to join Port).
The Advertiser says we're closing in on Steve Armstrong (Rucci must watch 10 news).
Pleasingly, Nathan Eagleton signed a new deal with the Bulldogs.

If we get Richie Cole i will vomit. Same goes with Bullen and Lonie. Armstrong's alright.

Has anyone noticed that not a single one of these trade rumours involves us getting a player type that we actually need? The only one close is Armstrong.

The first round pick was only paper speculation - I should've been clearer.
Collingwood's Richard Cole looks likely to struggle to reach Essendon, the club believed to be his preferred choice. The Pies are committed to trading for draft picks but it seems unlikely the Bombers would part with pick seven — their first-round draft pick as it now stands. Port Adelaide and the Bulldogs have expressed interest and might be better placed with their first-rounds picks (currently picks 14 and 11) to strike a deal.

Cole has only ever wanted/intended/expected to go to Essendon. If they don't want him at this point, I don't expect any other side, including Port, will be at all interested. Port is probably only being mentioned in order to make Essendon notice.

Trade Primus to Collingwood for Cole. Cole would be unlikely to get many games, but at least it would remove leadership issues and ensure our rucks and forward line don't get screwed up late next year. :D

I was angry at the time in a period of two minutes I read that Primus was staying, Port were looking at Cole and Medhurst. Why are you trolling our board anyway??? :confused:

I don't think that makes a Bandwagoner... but I agree that membership should be unconditional. You either love the club and want to contribute financially or you don't.
