No on a serious note, I think somehow Port will get Bullen. Don’t know what/who for though.

How about Bullen + pick 55 for pick 46. Sounds like both clubs would be happy that way, Port get a bloke they say that they want and we upgrade our 4th pick to a late third rounder.

:thumbsd: YOU'RE INSANE BUDDY !! McPhee got to Essendon 2 years ago via Fremantle. . . What makes you think he would want to go to a team that's on its way back down the ladder ??? The Dons would be crazy to give up a future Brownlow medallist. Cant wait till he hits his peak and starts tearing up the opposition (especially Port)

Settle down champ, and re-read the thread. You'll find the "McPhee for Cochrane" suggestion was a joke. Nice first post btw, really energetic, perfect for BigFooty.

Ted Richards for pick 33
Whether he is worth it or not, we will get more than that for him. Hopefully an early 2nd rounder.....there are plenty of clubs interested in him so that should drive the price up.

How about Richards plus our 4th round pick to sydney for Mcveigh? Our 4th rounder would be close to their 3rd rounder.
Would be a win win. Sydney get a tall backman with potential and a upgraded pick. Essendon get the bother of Mark whom can add more pace in the midfield. An inside player we need.

we'd be more likely to send our mcveigh north to sydney than the other way around. how about sending down o'keefe, instead?

I think this will happen, as much as I don’t want Bullen at Port I think were not giving up much.

I don't want Camporeale. But if we got rid of Bolton I'd do it in a flash.

Camporeale would have a lot more to offer us than Mark Bolton.

campo is finished why do we want carlton dscards they are mortal enemy no. 1. then again we are giving mark bolton to them hopefully we can do it soon then on trade campo. then we will get a win win stuff carlton up whilst not having any carlton trash. Id prefer we give richards (dont want to lose to guy) and bolton as a package do get an elite mifielder, somehow. If all the talk is about richards then its all good for us i think.

finally, we get to poison Carlton.

Campo - enjoy the trip to Bendigo, we need a few good midfielder for Bendi next year - given the kids stepping up and the trash being moved on.

Yes please, we get rid of Bolts and get someone to replace Murphy as the most hated :D
Campo will probably go alright with us for a year or two.

4 Oct 2005, 18:13
Hell yeah - Id take that.

No more Bolton!! No more Bolton!!

But wouldn't Rawlings be on a lot - not sure if hes worth all that salary cap.

Maybe Bullen for asecond round pick that they'll use to get Cole (looks like thats gonna happen whether we like it or not)

4 Oct 2005, 18:56
Would take both, but the pick we get for Bullen would be fourth round at best.

definitely yes, take it take it take it.

rawlings is all good just hope his knees hold up, he only lost confidence because of supercoach rohde. Ead wasn't good enough to bring him back but with essendons medical staff im sure we'll get him on the park and sheedy second to none in installing confidence into players.

I personally don't think that cole will be that bad, maybe last season wasn't where it should've been, its like when u get homesick when you go home you are able to excel, and cole's home is essendon.

bring this deal on

I would rather rawlings and cole then bullen and bolton, so i dont see why not.
