Should Ricky be captain of the tasmania tigers?
I dont reckon he should because hes got test commitments and therefore wont have enough time to lead his state. What those everybody else think about it?

He should be if the selectors see him as the next captain of the country although we really dont have an obvious choice for our next captain.I think we should get Katich in there quick smart and groom him or Martyn.Carlton boy its good to see you posting reasonable posts try and continue it.;)

Carlton cool - Should Gilchrist remain captain of WA since he'll be on test duty this summer also? I think maybe Katich will be given the role when Gilly, Martyn and Langer have national committments.

NO he shouldnt, he should havea shared captaincy with Hussey. The reason i say that is because it would be diffucult trying to captain an pura cup or ing match if your doing a test or one dayers.

Fair enough. The state teams are in a bit of a pickle with this, because they want the most experienced and high profiled player to captain their state, although they know that they will only be available to play in the October state matches before being ready for international duties.

Is Gilchrist the most experinced? That policy is just plain dumb. A good captain doesnt lose a important test match.
