anyone got a price for game 1 of super series on wednesday, initially i thought oz should be faves, then i saw the international batting line up and thought ints should be faves, then i saw how close the vics got and thought oz should be faves, then i saw tait, hogg out and now i reckon the ints are faves. could be worth a bet at $1.85 or better. Thoughts???

Seriously though, Australia should never have been favourites, and I doubt they were, although the odds would be Australian punters you just never know.
Tait and Hogg out make no difference, they were never going to win the game for Australia, White in makes the Australian lineup stronger, Clark weakens it so it ends up back where we started. Of course the selectors have done Australia no favours by filling every gap in the squad with a NSW hack
The World XI can lose a few players and still be favourites they are that strong
I cannot see Lee, Bracken, McGrath, Symonds, Watson bowling out the World XI or restricting them to less than 280 unless the Dome pitch is a shocker

Odds started around $1.90 to start the week. ROW went down to $1.85 and seem to be getting lower.
Wonder what the odds would have been had Australia done something with themselves in the Ashes.
Not often I enter a series thinking Australia will lose.
