The weather for Saturday is not looking good Rain Periods are forecast.
There is a thread for the whole premier cricket year (http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=202936) maybe we could just post everything to do with premier cricket in there but just a thought
The weather is still looking a little wet for saturday.
If Saturday is a total washout all games can be played on Sunday as this is the 1st of 2 reserve days.

I agree in being optimistic but I spoke to the Club cricket manager at Cricket Victoria about that issue considering it would be the next day and he told me if all matches were cancelled early on Saturday that they would play Sunday as it is a reserve day according to the fixture. I much prefer to get the game over Saturday even if it is 25 overs a side so I can get to Telstra Dome on Sunday.

Well only the 1sts and 2nds get to play on the reserve day, the 3rds and 4ths miss out which is a bit unlucky
What club you play for MRobbo?

I don't actually play but I work for the Richmond CC 1st XI Team. I score for the team when our normal scorer is away or when we play home games at Punt Road I am up in the scoreboard.

Are you sure the reserve day is only for 1's and 2's ? I thought it was the whole lot. Maybe someone can check with CV to see this.

The ones and twos have a reserve day. The ******** carters just have to put up with having a wash out.

yeah im positive, so its unlucky for us 3rds and 4ths players because by the looks of tonites rain, no games are likely tomorrow.

180 not enough in one innings
Not when he only contributes 210 in his other 14 innings
A first class average of 29 shows he aint up to it

Where? If Mash fails then Klinger or Jewell will get the opening position
Look at the top order
Arnberger
Mash
Hodge
Klinger
Jewell
Hussey
Moss
White
Now 1 of them already has to make way when Hodge is back from international committments, which other one will make way for Rummans?
Listen, I am/was a fan of Rummans but I would much rather see Jewell and Klinger get a prolonged run in the team to see if they have what it takes. From what I have seen of Jewell, he does, Klinger we can only hope
Rummans is the past, other than Arnberger the rest of that side is the future of Victoria

whites international games will decrease and Rummans form will decrease. No chance, give up nicho

injuries any player could well good get injured and he could replace them, thats not to mention bad form, any of that batting order bar white and hodge, could be dropped if they are not getting runs... rummo will play this year, mark my words. + mash will be a one hit wonder

One hit wonder? Now who does that remind me of? Someone who made 188 in 1 innings, nothing else, just cant remember his name. Doubt the selectors will pick him again ;)

rummans is far from a one hit wonder
Give Rummo a break guys, he is scoring runs for fun for St Kilda and it is only a matter of time before he is recalled to the Victoria team.
Keep up the good work Rummo :thumbsu:
