Here you go Freo fans. This from the AFL SITE

THE Fremantle Football Club wishes to advise that after the initial review of the Clubs playing list a number of decisions have been made.

The following players were today informed that they have been de-listed by the Club prior to the list deadline on October 31 - Adam Butler, Brad Wira and Ashley Clancy.

It is likely that there will be further changes prior to the deadline next Tuesday. These will be advised at the time.

All three were on my list to go.Clancy for all his size never really impressed,Wirra did not do enough to be retained and Butler could not get a game with South.
Others who should be worried,Fewster,Grover,Koops,Norrish,Prescott,Simpson and Toia.

No suprises amongst those three. It shall be interesting to see who the other ones will be. FOr mind I hope they keep Norrish and Koops.

Anchorman I would be very suprised if they got rid of Toia, everyone would see this as him being shafted.

Agreed. Wouldn't the supporters think that the club is heartless for delisting a player just because he had a serious injury this year? Unfortunately I dont think Toia will play again and will be chopped at the end of 2002.

If he can't play why keep him on the list.I don't think the club can afford to take the risk of playing him after such a horrific injury.I am sorry that he was hurt cos I have a bit of time for him as a player.

Simpson should get the chop
he's just plain crap!!

As for koops he'd be really good if he didn't get injured all the time. Hopefully after a good preseason he'll be ready to go for 2002.

I saw the name Butler....who the hell is he? Don't even know him from the WAFL! Clancy was an obvious one but I reckon Wira was a bit hard done by.

I always thought Wira was on the wrong side of Damian Drum. He never seemed to get much of a run with him and from what I saw, Allan gave him more of a go. Obviously still not enough.
