View Full Version : Richmond no longer interested in Fevola

During "Liars Week" one wonders if this is the truth, or a way to get Carlton to accept less in a trade with Richmond. (That is, if the internet conspiracy theorists of Carlton wanting to offload his contract desperately are true)

This makes the signing of Lance a little easier to deal with.

Never was going. Carlton were just "putting the wind put up him" like they did with Lance last year. That's why the trade terms were almost impossible
well from the start i have been saying fev isnt going anywhere.....like we'd sign him to a million dollar contract just to ship him off 3 months later. duh.

But those pillars of footy trading inside information such as Chilliboy, Bee Dee, Doggies05 all said he was definately going.
Are you telling me they are nothing but liars and frauds who pretend to be 'on the inside'?

Yes it did, Greg Miller told the media it's been on the radio all afternoon.

It's seems that after been told for the fourth time in so many days this week that "Fevola isn't up for trade so bugger off" Miller finally got the point and "lost interest".

Richmond should count their lucky stars. Fevola... Now Carlton are stuck with an over inflated wage drawer. Still at least the Demon's aren't going to snare him. Would've stuck my head in the oven, turned on the gas and lit a match just to make sure the job was done properly.

Carlton never said they wanted to trade him but now it is Richmond's idea to walk away. :D

That is true. Carlton hasn't actually said he was up for trade. Fevola's attitude really added weight to the claims. Still, perhaps Carlton could have put him up for trade and let the offers come in. They may have snared a some great recruites. It is amazing what some teams swap off.

Melbourne will probably make an offer but I am pretty certain that he wont come to much, even though I'd really like it.
Pickett looks like all we will get out of this trade period.
I reckon we should go for Copeland.
