A former player for port melbourne Brent Evans is returning to play for port next year so he can play his 100th game for them. He has spent the last 2 years as a player/coach at the Aspley footy club in Brisbane.

You @#$^ing beauty! Not sure how his form as been up in Brissy, but thats fantastic news for the Borough. A real leader at the club before going up there due to work commitments (from memory).

Saw him at Ports game against Coburg, and wondered if he might have been moving back to Melbourne.

News like this, and Troy West signed up as an assistant coach.. positive signs.

Indeed onslaught, very positive. With the Borough standing alone next season, hopefully some good established footballers can be attracted to the club to help make them competitive.
