With it being trade week and all, it got me thinking about the players that have left us in the past one way or another. I thought Id make a team and what they've done since. Feel free to add anyone ive missed. This was all I could think of
B Cockatoo Jacobs Manton
-Cocky was servicable for Port
-Jacobs best highlight has been getting caught drink driving
-Manton won a premiership and helped hype his team with that speech before the 99 prelim
HB D Kickett Richards Hardwick
- Dale Kickett was involved in one of the best brawls ever
- Richards will probably become AA now that his gone
- Losing Hardwick hurt, won a premiership, hurt us in 2 finals
C Heffernan Calthorpe Blumfield
- Heff and Blumfield were great in the 00GF. Done nothing since leaving.
HF Caracella J Barnes Der Kickett
- watched some old games on fox footy recently, Caracella was a gun and losing him really hurt us. Though McPhees nice. Wish we could get him back.
- Barnes went to Geelong, rucked in 2 grand finals (i think) and then came back home and helped take us all the way. Not to mention Denham who was great. How good was that bump on Brad Johnson in that game we lost in 00
- Der Kickett, shafted out of a premiership, helped get Sydney there, kicked the greatest goal of all time last yr
F Merrett Cummings Salmon
- Merrett did alright in Brisbane didn't he?
- Cummings won a Coleman and at a few cheeseburgers
- Salmon was AA I think, if not he finished high in a Brownlow count
R J Madden Wanganeen Olarenshaw
- Harry won a flag, helped establish the Players Assoc, who can forget that running goal against adelaide in the 93 finals
- Wanga, still hurts so much. Why did he have to leave? Won Port their premiership off his own boot and his been great
INT Young Plain Ridley Delaney
- Young was good for us, couldnt care about the rest
