What do all my fellow Collingwood supports think about the Pies hiring an Elite SAS Solider as the new Chief of the football department, i think its a great move!!! Its in todays herald sun.

he should wip them into shape, and overhaul how things work in the football department, certainly very exciting...

Fantastic decision. I'm wondering if this means anyone is on the outs though?

Hopefully it has it's desired effect (ie. a lean mean match winning machine playing in absolute unity).

Obviously, there could be the reverse effect (ie. driving players away from the club/disharmony).

Will wait and see...

I think it should be a good affect, i read reports the players where asking this guy all sorts of questions and are really keen...

The players can philosophise all they want though FadeAway, it's the practice that's important.

Not naming names, *cough*Johnno*cough*Lonie*cough*Leon*cough* but there are a few guys who have to practice this bloke's teachings on and off the field.

Hope it all works.

Hopefully they can 'force' Tarrant to kick more accurately.

As long as players still enjoy their footy, it 'may' help. The thing I would be worried about with the decision is that the team is drilled too hard, and players may start to lose interest, or not enjoy the game like it is supposed to be.

He isn't a coach.
His role will be 'off field'

I think it is a great idea. Anyone who doesn't turn up to training, watch out... :D
