Quality player whos career stalled for 3 seasons(for one reason or another) and may have cost him a chance of playing test cricket

Get Hussey in the test side.
10/10
A great concentrator, always gives 100%, great fielder, even has an ODI wicket.
Hussey to replace Martyn and captain Australia for a short term solution.
a very good batsman and fielder. i felt that on the ashes tour when we were struggling in the one-dayers he was able to put his hand up and bat well for us.
I feel that he deserves a go in the test side, and when one of the batsman fail he will be there to take over and dominate.

You have got to be joking. I play grade cricket with him and he is an absolute champion, never has a bad word to say about anyone, always puts in 100% in grade cricket. the guy is a legend and i am pretty sure anyone that has met him will agree

should be a regualar in the one day team for a while and hope het gets a shot at test cricket.plays with a bit of mungrel which the Aussie team needs with a lot of pretty boys running around at the moment.

Wouldn't have made a difference, Hodge was knocking, hard, making runs, but wasn't given half a look in.

But Hussey was making runs earlier, when Hodge started getting better, Hussey dropped off for a few years.
Being from WA he might have gotten into the side if he was making runs at the right time

LOL, all of a sudden every team bar Victoria gets a free ride into the Test team. If he was from NSW or Queensland he would have made his debut 7-8 years ago.

Gee, Victoria had won jack ******** but they still thought they were the greatest. They win the Pura cup in 03/04 and 5 players get contracts with CA yet you guys still complain.
