What was the go with Ocean Grove this season ???? Did they lose alot of players or did others just recruit better ????
To have dropped down the ladder that much you would of thought they would of lost a few players.
Any news on Bede Dixon, what he is doing next year ???

Lost a lot of players is the reason they finished low.
Dixon did not play.
They have a new coach Paul Sproule for next season.

I think it is Mathew Sproule that is coaching the Grubbers. He does have a brother Paul, though.
Sproule has spent the past six seasons coaching Melton South in the Ballarat league. Years ago he also played in the VFA (with Willy I think it was) and is a good pick up for the Grubbers.

Actually Geelong Ammos do win when it counts they actually won the 2004 premiership and were undefeated all season.
Newcomb did buy a lot of players, but they also had quite a feew home grown players, they were a very good team this season.
As for Ocean Grove i couldnt care less what they do.

True, they werent defeated but Barwon Heads drew with them in what was one of the biggest suprises and greatest games I have ever seen. Only to lose to them in the finals a couple of weeks later by about 200 points

And also in what was one of the most blatant displays of umpire cheating ever seen in the history of football in the drawn game.

Tayls, let me guess you play for Geelong Ammos, you dont care what the grubbers do (seeing how they are pretty big rivals of yours, well i assume) & that in a drawn game it was blatent cheating by the umpires.
