Just a quick thread to ask people the best and worst lines/insults they have heard at the footy....

Best line from some Melbourne supporters near me to Luke Williams....
Williams I pay to watch, get in and contest!!!!

Worst line from an Essendon supporter (you know the ones which the only 3 syllabel word they know is their own team and could not count to 50) when Cameron Bruce received what he thought was a dubious free kick....
You would get a free kick fir that at Melbourne High.
Two points re that - if he was making the gag about Melbourne players going to elite private schools, Melbourne High is a government school and secondly Bruce went to University High!!!

Any lines better than these....

Anything in relation to Collingwood actually being a decent football side always makes me laugh. Have a read of the Collingwood forum and it makes you wonder how some people hold down a job.

The Richmond optimism before every season, yet we all know they will finish in the bottom eight.

Sorry to stick my nose into the Dees board but thought I had a goody. Last year against Carlton, Witnall dropped a sitter and some character a few rows back yelled out, "What's the matter Lance? No batter on it?"
well...made me laugh.
