Okay the tension has gotten to me, I've seen Essendon, Collingwood, Port and the Roos clean out their lists and I'm wondering who's going to be shown the door at Junction Oval?...Does anyone know anything about it?

I'm keen for Armstrong to be delisted. I think the Swans would look at him very closely in the draft.

What has happened to Cameron Hunter? I remember a fair bit of hype over his debut, but not much else.
He's had trouble getting the weight on to his slender frame. He's like his old man was in his playing days, only lighter.
He was given a few games at the end of 2003 along with Nick Smith and Jared Rivers, basically to see where they were at and prepare them for 2004. With Rivers it worked a treat, as he won the Rising Star the next year. Smith's suffered injuries since.

Nothing... which is half the problem.
He still weighs 50kg :o

Was totally overrated by Melbourne supporters. Hunter was never going to be anything.

I think it was his fearless guts that excited everyone.

I'm keen for him to stay. Doubt the Swans would get him. He'll be gone before they could.

So have we given anyone the arse yet? I log on here halfway around the world and expect to see that Williams has been put out of his/our misery but still no news.
Are they retaining him as the next gun full forward in cast Neitz suddenly chucks it in? Those of us who saw his debut against St. Kilda in 99 when he missed a sitter with his first kick and has done ******** all since bar one ripper game against Carlton @ Optus shudder at the prospect.

Any chance Warnock will go?

If he's delisted, he can go in the national. He *could* be there in the 4th round. We've no hope of getting anybody decent in the PSD though.

I think his biggest problem was that he didn't have any guts... literally. ;)

I think you've summed it up beautifully.

Seriously doubt it. Would be dissapointed if he did. You don't rookie list a player, have him show a fair bit, then de-list him... surely.

What about Van Shaik, I havent heard anything since he got drafted. Does he even look like getting a game?

My Dad was speaking to a Melbourne player that he knows pretty well and the player said that Williams and Hunter have been delisted. However, this conversation took place at the B+F count and it's obviously been a fair while since then for nothing to have been officially announced. I think it's a shame Hunter couldn't put on a bit of weight because to me it looked as though he had the tools, but no toolbox.
From what I understand Van Sheik is super raw. At the start of the year his kicking was amazingly ordinary. I'm not sure how he progressed though.

I've heard Van Shaik has looked ok. Happy to always have 1 ruckman on the rookie list, so whether it be him for another year or another ruckman in this years rookie draft I wouldn't really care.

Remember him kicking a bag in sandy's reserves.

you gotta give blokes like van shaik and warnock a bit of time. It would be very unfair to axe them as they have only been on the list for one year. I mean unless they are a complete dud and cant get a kick in sandy 2's, then yeah, fair enough, but until then give them a go and see what happens. There have been some pretty good stories come out of rookie elevations
