Was Lovett that good ? Nice cheeky goal, a couple of sprints, very wayward with his disposal.

Didn't think he was in the best half dozen but he was sure worth his spot. Was no Mcleod that's for sure. He's a genius. I stared at the paper with my mouth open for about 5 mins when i read that he grew up supporting us and had always wanted to play under Sheeds.

Bradley was the perfect player to ruck in that match.....he was dominant over his opponent in the ruck and was agile enough to get plenty of the ball around the ground. Thank God that the AA team aren't automatic selections or we might have seen Spider or Cox out there who are not really suited to the game.
Sheedy was a dead set GENIUS last night and throughout the selection process. The Irish didn't know what hit them!

me too!!!! what could have been...especially when you hear that he was close to quitting the game when Ayres was at Adelaide. Imagine if he'd come to us...

I think I went to bed dreaming about Mcleod in an Essendon jumper...
