For those who are not aware, there is a Big Footy Fantasy Cricket competition, of which the mighty Fremantle Mariners have just been crowned Premiers for 2005.
As always happens, a few victorian hacks have jumped ship thinking they are bigger than the team, so we are recruiting for 2006 season which starts pretty much 1st Jan 2006.
I'm the new skipper, and it is simple, you PM me or post here saying you are interested.
I need a couple of batsmen/women, a keeper (you will start as a reserve but will get some games if you post in the thread) and an all rounder.
But at the moment batsmen are the key.
We want fun people who take their sport with a healthy doese of irony (as Dockers Fans I know that is you), and who will make the odd post here and there throughout the season.
We want to go back to back and stick it to the big teams whose feathers we have ruffled. Seriously some of the other teams in this comp make the Toast look humble!!!
