I saw these two movies on the weekend. Night Watch is a Russian production and is set in Moscow. Having lived in Moscow for four years I found it very sentimental, especially in the subway scenes, seeing all the stations that I used to go past every day on my way to work. Overall the movie is pretty good.
Dark Water is a movie that you'll either love or hate. I loved it. It was a bit different from normal movies of that genre and I loved Peter Postlethwaite' performance.
Overall both are really good. I would give Night Watch 3 out of 5 stars and Dark Water 4 out of 5.
